Dry kicap meehoon with soup & Curry mee meehoon = RM 11 Takeaway only, and can call to pickup Curry broth was flavourful, a hint of spicy. Friendly shop owner/staff. Gave utensils and bowls to eat in our room. Enjoyed the simple noodles as brunch before going out sightseeing. Thank you!

Today's curry noodle is good. Parking is troublesome. No pork or lard. Muslim can dine here too.

The place has a sitting area at back yard and at the front of the shop. Sitting at the front you can get the sea air. The curry noodles does not have any glazing hence the dull look. As for the taste, a little on the mild side. It comes with cockles, fish ball. Not too bad. The portion is a little smaller.

The shop sells Curry Mee, Soup Mee and Dry Mee. Add extra tauhu and kerang, yummy until ordered another bowl.

One of a few eateries from my childhood that still survives. Hoi Yin offers decent traditional curry noodle with light but flavorful broth. You can choose between yellow noodle, flat noodle, bee hoon or just mix them up. They also offers soy sauce noodle (mee kicap) with curry broth and soup noodle. You can also choose between small, large or special size. The difference will their size obviously and condiments provided. You can also opt for additional cockles and half boiled egg. Parking is available on the same row as the restaurant but it usually taken pretty fast. A lot more car parks available if you are not the kind of person who must park inside the restaurant. Stop complaining and walk. Finding available table always challenging if you come at peak hour between 8-11 am. There are tables available at the back of the restaurant, you need to go inside and past by the kitchen and stewarding area to get there. Or just visit during non peak hour, earlier the better as they can run out of stock pretty fast. Or just content with queuing if you go at peak hour. See picture of hungry peoples queuing attached. The place usually open around 7am and close around 12 to 1 pm. The price is decent, not cheap but not expensive either. Hope this helps.

The most common taste of laksa, some places called it curry noodle. You can find this in most places in Malaysia. The only good point is the ingredients are more: chicken, fish balls, fish cake, bean curd. Prefer the dry noodle and choose between clear or curry soup. Almost fooled by the coffee shop that the storefront showed all tables occupied by the raw materials. Seems no place to be seated. Customer have to queue up outside the shop and wait to be seated. Hence have to take the sun burn a bit if the queue is long. The actual seating place is behind the shop that will be lead by the waitress.

Came here for their signature curry noodles. Unfortunately the gravy is too diluted for my liking, the ingredients are normal, nothing great about it. The kopi o kurang kurang manis still very sweet. I think this is below average compared to other famous curry noodles.

The broth is lighter but spicy enough. It brings back the memories where the curry mee tasted in old days. Simple, decent taste local curry mee in neighbourhood. The cockles are fresh and you can ask for add on in your curry mee with additional charges. If youโ€™re vegetarian, their broth is vegetarian friendly, maybe you can put simple condiments like taupok and taugeh as well. The environment is in very old building and open air seating at the back of the kitchen. Just few tables and chairs to enjoy a moment of curry mee moment which is a different experience too. Not wheelchair friendly. Love their kopi less sweet very much! Recommended.
