Kuey teow has nice taste of rice, soup is decently sweet broth and a touch of chicken oil added on.
Must try kakak peng, very good combination of Nescafé and barley. Highly recommended

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not a bad kueh tiao soup. Kakak peng here quite special, tea mixed with barley. Taiping here they like to mixed their drink, tea mixed with coffee and milo. Coffee mixed with milo, tea mixed with milo. Fishball here also not bad. We come here for breakfast, because cannot find other place for breakfast

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The noodle soup is delicious. Great portion and great taste. Price is reasonable. It’s always busy, so I assume it’s quite popular with the locals. Tried the coffee barley. It’s nice, but it’s not super special. Very rich and good for breakfast. I wish there was more protein options for a more balanced breakfast.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My 2nd Favourite place to eat in Taiping. Simple yet fulfilling. Its something about the soup, the taugeh, shredded chicken meat snd the special hor fun. Its just blend so well. 1 bowl is never enough.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Looks like Ipoh Kai Si Hor Fun but totally different taste. Soup was full of chicken flavour. I heard one of Taiping friend said local will eat noodles soup by adding few teaspoon of chilli sauce but I don't know which one - plastic mug or metal mug.
P/S: after I finished my noodles soup, I saw a local put few spoon of chilli sauce from metal mug, maybe you can have a try and eat like local =)
For chicken feet, I think quite normal and I guess…too much five spice powder.
Another signature is their Jia Jia Bing, nescafe + barley.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The nga choy here is even nicer than ipoh nga choy!!! How is this possible?!?! Dry koay teow is very nice @RM4.50/bowl. Plate of liver is huge l. The kopi & teh is really really good too. Haven't had authentic flavour coffee & tea in a long time. Highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Taking Ipoh stuff to Taiping! Food is good. Decor hasn't changed in half a century, there's some charm in that though.
The horfun is good, soup stock great, chicken not so great texture.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Another popular breakfast shop for local and tourists, very crowded and few minutes wait expected. KoayTeow soup in nice and broth mixed well with sambal. Coffee is excellent and priced reasonably. Service is really efficient where food and drinks are served in less than 5mins after order. Will definitely come back again soon.
