Before 6 am, it was already crowded with people for morning tea, and my favorite glutinous rice chicken was already sold out! "Drinking morning tea and eating dim sum" was originally a habit of eating breakfast in Cantonese. In the past, the rich eldest young master always liked to take the bird cage to the teahouse to sigh the tea, and enjoy it. Today, drinking morning tea is not limited to Cantonese people. Will come, even Indians will come to patronize. In Cantonese, drinking morning tea is also called "sighing morning tea", and "sighing" means "enjoyment", indicating that drinking tea is a pleasant thing in the hearts of Cantonese people. Historically, generations of people grew up under the influence of Cantonese morning tea culture. Along with the changes in the groups and tastes of people who drink morning tea, Xinjunji's dim sum and environment are also changing, not only retaining the traditional essence, but also having the delicious taste of the new trend. Decades ago, our ancestors would go to the door of the teahouse before 5 in the morning and wait for the door to open. Consciously, drinking morning tea is not just drinking tea, but also contains rich content of social life. It is not only associated with diet, but also with the etiquette habits of interpersonal communication.

A time capsule where you'll be transported back in time, complete with retired gentlemen and ladies, all enjoying their relaxing "lim teh/yum cha" time. It's mainly a bakery selling mooncakes and traditional baked goods, but serves food as well. Serves chinese tea like how traditional breakfast goes. Food is ok, price is reasonable, the experience nostalgic.
