★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's irresponsible for the kanna curry house chain to replace authentic banana leaves with the fake paper banana leaf. You can't do this for profitability. If it was a poor stall owner I can accept.
Using paper banana leaf pose some serious health hazards to consumers, for example when hot food is placed on the plastic lining plasticisers may leach into the food. As the green paper does not have a smooth and consistent finish it could be made from recycled pulp from old newspapers. Besides being dyed green, the paper may contain inks from the recycled newspapers.
Food is said to taste better when served on banana leaf as there is no chemical reaction, the food keeps its value intact besides retaining the leaf taste. When hot food is placed on real banana leaf a nice aroma is being released. This is because banana leaf contains large amounts of polyphenols which is similar to green tea

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Serious sedap!!! My family enjoys eating there. Their service is good and fast even if the place is crowded and the most important thing is it's clean. The banana leaf rice is my favourite. You can order it with fried squid, chicken and fish according to your preference. Worth my money!!!

The food is great and the service is really fast.
The staff are polite, professional and friendly.
The price is reasonable and the quality is good.
I would definitely recommended this to everyone!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tucked away from the office and factory around Penchala is a single row shop lot with a grocery store, restaurant and car battery workshop. They've been here for the last 10 years. Food is expected with all Kanna outlets but wish they use glass instead of paper cups (ok for takeaway) for hot drinks as they somehow don't taste quite the same.

The food is excellent and i especially love the cucumber/onion salad and the mutton curry.
Prices are mid range. Well depends on what you order.
Parking may be a bit difficult but everyone parks on the roadside.
