Pls AVOID and BAN this restaurant! Cut throat prices and baby size extremely stingy portions. So small that we ate and left still hungry. When asked why the dishes were so small (when the price was so expensive) the fat lady staff rudely told us she's just a worker there. She also rudely moved the table when we were still sitting. Just because they are famous in this kampung they are arrogant and damn expensive (more expensive than KL prices!). I have never eaten at a chinese restaurant that has made me so angry before.

We ordered Kala fish told us Rm80 per kilo. Ok the fish came out was a medium sized fish split in half about 12 inches long and 6 inches wide and thin. When the bill came the fish was 1.4 kilo(yes half of a fish) unbelievable! Won’t go again.

Plenty freshwater seafood, which locate nearest to Kuala Kangsar.

Many told me this little town Sauk is famous for its fishballs... out of my surprise it’s really like no others... surprising smooth, isn't too soft or bouncy, but rather slightly firm and a little springy... the right description in local slang is “Q” ?❤️

Food is ok, not the best in the area. A little expensive but we finally tasted the steamed Sultan fish @ RM12/kg we wanted to try the last time we came to Sauk.

Came after it reopened 3 days since MCO started, so all the river fishes were frozen. Luckily the freshwater prawns were live oned. Taste of dishes ordered were quite good though we heard that it's not the best restaurant around here. Prices are slightly on the high side. Service was fast and good.

Love their fried Mee Hoon and fishballs! Whenever we are in Ipoh, we will drive up to Sauk and buy these from the restaurant. They also have lots of other delicious dishes.
