★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great crab dishes and general food here. Staff is friendly and the crabs are so thick and juicy! These are Indonesian mud crabs. The tofu and the veggies are well prepared and delicious. Everything has a sweet (in a good way) taste which tells you the ingredients are fresh.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been here twice and now I know why some locals love it here despite the no-frills atmosphere. The food is really tasty and well-prepared, without the dreaded MSG taste. True to its name 'Crab House' the crab dishes are, of course, excellent. But it's not just good for crab dishes. Even the humble sweet-and-sour pork is good. An interesting item is their pumpkin beancurd, which is really soft and delectable for even the fussiest bean curd lover. On my second visit, the steamed fish was just a tad overcooked but no one complained besides me (I'm fussy when it comes to steamed fish). Overall none of their dishes were disappointing. Well worth a visit for excellent fresh seafood, or even just regular dishes to go with steamed white rice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Seafood here is one of the very best of Ipoh. Fresh, tasty, worth every ringgit spent. Crabs can be slightly higher in price but every bite is satisfying. Only meat crabs available. As the name is Crab House, hope that they will include roe crabs in the future.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent food. Dishes were served and presented quite elegantly and all were tasty. Prices reasonable as the seafood was fresh. Their 4 angle bean with spicy and sour sauce was delightful. Even the "mundane" fried hor fun was excellent with lots of "wok hei". Their crab in claypot with vermicelli was good and their signature baked crab was very good as well. Good service too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It live up to its name.. crab house.. of course must order crab.. many flavours and my favourite will be marmite crab n tanghoon crab. Their signature taufu also is a must try..
Price is not the cheap but the quality of it ingredient and the flavour make it worthwhile.. make sure u make a reservation before u go.. if u like crab.. this is a must try..
