★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This restaurant is another canteen of my customer. In the morning, there's bah kut teh (in my memory the quality was decent) and it turns into restaurant in the afternoon and at night. I remember this restaurant vividly because there was a time when I stayed from 9am until 3pm in the afternoon, eating breakfast and lunch (probably a record in my dictionary).
And in honesty, this restaurant was my Plan B. My Plan A wasn't successful as the intended destination decided not to open that night, so in moment of hectic I remembered this place and proceed to drive here. The drizzle didn't do much help to lift up the spirit. But since we were there, I just want to have a pleasant dinner...
◾salt baked mud crab - when I asked for crabs, they said that they were out of the crustaceans.. but then they sent their worker out on a bicycle to get fresh supply nearby. Later on, a perfectly baked large sized mud crabs were placed in front of us. Fried shallots were placed on top of the crab, underneath its shell... A small gesture that surely add fragrant to the sweetness of the crabs.
◾Kung bao mantis shrimp - perfectly fried fish, with the mantis shrimp not covered in thick batter (just right!) and delicious Kung bao sauce.
◾oyster omelette (or chien) - as small as the oysters were, they were fresh and the omelette has got the charred smell from the wok. Not the best, but good enough
After the satisfying meal, we proceed to head back home.. driving slowly under the rain in the cold night.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dinner ordered 'Teochew Style' steam Four finger Threadfin(午鱼), fried Lala Omelette, stir fried sweet potato leaves & 茨粉根. All dishes suit my taste bud! Sure will come back for other dishes again! Recommended & friendly lady boss cum chef........

Very quiet during the afternoon. We came around 1 and there was only 1 other table occupied - very easy to social distance I guess ?
Lady boss is friendly. Since it’s so quiet, it’s actually quite nice to just chill in this Chinese Kampung setting at noon with a nice pot of tie guan yin ? ?
