โ โ โ โ โ First time visit to Restaurant MJ Kopitiam in SS3 Petaling Jaya. I really enjoyed the two dishes I tried.
First up was a plate of Ipoh style โChee Cheong Funโ (steamed rice flour flat noodles). With mushroom and mince pork sauce. A dollop of โtim cheongโ (sweet sauce), fried shallots and some pickled green chilies were provided as toppings for the dish. Not quite as good as the โOGโ version from Cannjng Garden in Ipoh, but so very satisfying whilst Iโm in KL/PJ vicinity.
Second dish was a plate for โChar Kuey Teowโ (Fried Rice Noodles) with duck egg. This stall uses a soft Ipoh hor fun type of kuey teow. I liked the texture. The duck egg makes the overall dish much creamier given the larger yolk compared to the standard chicken egg. Very tasty plate of CKT.

โ โ โ โ โ Found this place through social media but may be the expectation was high so it's rather overhyped for us. Curry mee taste a bit funny, dry curry mee and chee cheong fun are okay, coffee and cham peng can be better so in overall not as good as the other kopitiams especially those in Taman Paramount.

โ โ โ โ โ Couple of weeks ago, wanted to try the wantan mee but stall pindah, curry mee sold out and Char Koay Teow, a long queue. Not interested in other stalls.
Today went early and ate the curry mee, as it's recommended in a food video.
Waited a while as many orders. Had curry chicken and beehoon. Hint of prawn taste for that umami feel. With the added sambal and lime still not much of a kick.
Not too lemak so drank the curry, could be better with a little pedas.
Will I head here if I need a curry mee fix? There're others in PJ.

โ โ โ โ โ Tried the curry noodles here. I find it decent , good sized bowl. Curry is creamy and but not too lemak. The Chee Cheong fun is quite close to the Ipoh style ones. Quite good indeed.

โ โ โ โ โ Variety food available here. Curry is must try, not super best, but above average i can say. Charkueytiao very nice too with the duck egg and glassnoodle as one of the choice. Table distance good. Only drawback was this area very difficult to get parking especially peak hour time. Still, shall come again.

โ โ โ โ โ So far the chicken rice worth to order. The Chee Cheong fun normal taste. Pork noodles the ingredients so dry and the soup no taste. Price is reasonable and place is comfortable and spacious.

On a Sunday went at 11am & managed to eat the dry curry mee with extra char siew from the chicken rice stall. Dry curry mee is gud with 2 pcs chicken n a bowl of curry.
Another time I tried the chee cheong fun with pork skin n I loved it. Ordered bbq meats fr chicken rice stall to complement. My friends ordered curry me which was quite gud too.

โ โ โ โ โ Chee cheong fun curry and sweet spicy sauce really tasty. Char okay teow can be better with more wok hei taste is good and chicken rice quite nice. Didn't get the chance to try the dry curry mee coz it sold off very quickly before 11am.
Finally I get to taste the curry me, went at 9.30am, highly recommended, is not the type of curry me with overloaded santan. Will go again.
