Awesome curry fish head. Although the spice level is a bit too much for me, definitely a big treat for those who can stand the heat

Fair place to have a quick meal. The best place to have a shisha - the smoking ban permits these activities if done outside a food premises - which fulfilled by these guys.

I've only ordered delivery. Food is delicious, prices are fair. My favourites are the Yemeni rice with beef and their tom yum. The delivery charge is Rm2 Delivery is usually within half an hour to an hour.

CHEAP STUDENT BUDGET MEALS AVAILABLE 24/7, walking distance, also screen Football matches and have sheesha (hookas) for just a nice night out with friends. It is definitely not bad overall. However, of course, there are some pros and cons to it like every other thing in a market ready to be sold/ready to be bought. It might be a bit lengthy, but it's an honest take of a student who lived almost no more than 5 mins walk away for more than 3-4 years from 2011-15. a) If you don't mind the uwful hygenic condition at Spectrum and the nearby mamaks with their messy / smelly kitchens and the countless number of friendly neighborhood rats, which are almost always bigger than the local Western Asian Cats and are hiding/running all-around the kitchens in the dark, especially @ the junkyard at the back of Restoran Mohammad, the worst of the worst smell/bacteria/rat-poisoning can easily manifest there but as far as I remember in my 4-5 yrs near the restorans I didn't hear any serious case of food poisoning, but still be vigilant on your feet if you walk back at night cuz rats can always crash at your feet just like RATATOUILLE..... NOT..... Apart from that, if you like cheap student budget healthy meals 24/7. Give this place a go. Its not too bad, I recommend the Grilled Chicken Tikka and Nasi Goreng USA & Nasi Goreng Ayam (Fried Rice Chicken & Fried Rice with Boiled Eggs), both are economical, filling and healthy options compared to the rest of the menu. If you can get Laksa or some other local delacacy on some special days like for e.g Eid Holidays you can try them too but its better to leave that for old school Mamaks in Shah Alam or Bukit Bintaang. Secondly, if you want to eat within 3-4 RM ( ~ 1 USD) try the Roti Cinai and Teh Tarik or Milo Ice (try not to order large drinks, its a good way to save up those extra few cents/rms on your meals. Also, it is a happening place with EPL matches and other various football league matches being shown around the clock. This was a special treat for us football (NOT SOCCER) fans and to get to experience the Malaysia craze culture for football that for some major games the restorans with the projector screenings tend to get full at even 4-5am (that is the normal screening time for EPL matches in Malaysia, which sucks but if you are a fan you can always make time). It is situated in the middle of Jaffer & Mohammad and is visibly the cleanest of the three mamaks(google mamak if you are unaware of the it, it is malay for indian muslim food restorans most of which are open 24/7 and even cheaper than fast food, check out my review for McD MY to know more about the fast food culture of Malaysia. P.S: Next time I visit Malaysia I expect you guys (the owners/workers) to give me a free meal as I have never written such an eloquent review in my google reviews history but I felt like there was a need for such a review for this place. Poor new students are clueless at first, I myself, ate m&ms and Lays etc for the first two weeks when I entered Monash in 2010.) This restoran is one of the very few places for me in Malaysia where I made great friends, had amazing conversations, watched some crazy matches incl UEFA Champions League Final where Bayern lost to Chelsea, a lot of Chelsea fans in Malaysia so the celebration of that was quite a sight). The fans are mostly uneducated lower labor class and can create a violent environment to show their frustrations, Malay people might be short in strature but they are all definitely full of raw emotion, but then again most of the poor people around the Globe are raw in their expressions, and i find that to be an awe aspiring feat of Asian cultures unlike Europe/Aus/Canada. Also, tipping the waiters is kind but not mandatory like the states. Last but not least, if you have the option of paying a little more for traditional 'cleaner'/nicer mamak food you can always visit Anwar Maju @ Nadayu 28. Do check my review on Anwar Maju as well. And to all the intl students from Sunway Uni/Monash try not to live in Subang jaya or SS15 etc. Terimakasih !
