★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love the atmosphere. 5 star for that. Pandas everywhere, decorations are great. Nice music.
I went and had my lunch at 3pm without knowing there is a buffet at 6pm.
I ordered a semi-buffet and a bowl of smoked duck noodle.
I like the smoked duck noodle. It's pretty good.
Soup taste good and the duck is delicious.
The steamboat or "semi-buffet" was okay.
The food choice at the time is pretty limited.
The chicken,beef and lamb are pretty fresh when I ate them.
I don't like spicy food so I ordered a tomato soup instead. It's very unexpected because it's sweet? I usual drink soury taste tomato soup. But it's not bad. I can't review the spicy soup though :O
There is a lot of sauce to pick from lol. I think like more than 10.
There are still a lot of room for improvement food wise.
Would love to try the buffet at 6pm.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unfortunately KungFu panda is more like a mascot to this poor restaurant. I feel that the ingredients are straight from the frozen food section in your local market and there are very few choices of meats available.
No FISH
No PRAWNS
No SHRIMP
No CRAB
No good. Paid a premium price for this steamboat place and felt i wanted my money back as soon as possible. What a waste.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hidden at the lowest level at one corner of Sunway Pyramid near Clio Hotel accessible through Padini near TGIF is this Kung Fu Panda kitchen. It's a Steamboat Buffet restaurant with Large Screen projection of a short animation of Kung Fu panda and staff dancing to King Fu fighting music for a short session. Food is just average and the choices is just a few seafood (no crabs) and a few prepared food choice with a menu of fish ball, fish paste, meat balls etc. Hence its not much of value in terms of food but its more for its environment. Service is excellent as the tables usually aren't fully occupied so staff can spend more dedicated time per table. Dessert is like a show where it looks like they are cooking the ice cream but will pose a big problem when there is crowd as they take some time to prepare Ur ice cream rather than just scooping for U with no que and staff who are not properly trained as they ask for Ur order but forget when they are working on an existing one and also not familiar on how to do it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just a very normal steamboat buffet with high price. The renovation and deco for the theme is simple and low standard. The design also not children freindly. Overall not worth the money and time to dine here. Felt being cheated after my visit.
