★ ★ ★ ★ ★ restaurant located not too far from city center/KLCC (around 20min walking distance). there are a number of restoran padang in kampung baru area, but our preference is sederhana, due to authenticity and consistency of the food they serve. other thing, restoran sederhana also serve sate padang and soto padang. these are our favourite beside beef rendang and ayam pop (speciality skinless white fried chicken). restoran sederhana also serve indonesian drinks, such as teh botol, and our favourite, jus alpukat/avocado juice. must try all. food delivery and event booking also possible. note, restoran sederhana also got a number of branch around KL area

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Paid 9.50 for roast chicken. And this is what they gave me. A tiny piece of chicken neck with no meat at all! No restaurant gives chicken neck when you order chicken ok? Ridiculous. This is daylight robbery. Ordered via Grabfood so I couldn't complain to them directly. And Grab doesn't do anything other than issuing a standard computer generated reply.

About 70 fr 3 ppl to eat, with 4 rice and a myriad of drinks.
Came abit late fr lunch, but there were still the famous tunjang.
The fish je la dah habes. Sedeh.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Still one of the best nasi padang joint even though the price has increased . Just that lately the cooking kinda not so tasty as before. The sambal ijo doesn’t taste spicy & watery. So does the gulai ayam the gravy is watery too. I wonder if they change cook. Shouldn’t change the taste just tonaquire local taste bud. Ot should be the original authentic taste just like how we eat in Padang.
