★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Decided to try this restaurant seeing the good reviews. Regretted almost immediately. Bill for 2 pax was about RM40 for some steamed prawns, fried sotong and vegetables. Sounds reasonable but the portion sizes were so tiny, barely fitting as a snack: the portion of fried sotong (picture) was around the same size as a sauce plate. What a rip off. Would not recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Overall, not up to par. We asked for recommendation but got nothing specific as an answer. The fish we ordered is not as fresh as expected. Ww would expect fresher stuff from a restaurant in a fishing village. The butter prawn was overly salty. Steamed egg was not soft at all with too much gravy above. The la la (clams) we ordered was overcooked and hard to chew. 2 stars for still being edible. The only worth mentioning is the river view.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I came here for several times before and this is my worst experience I ever had before. All the ordered food have to wait within 15 mins n it's quite bad for us. Sincerely, don't come during any holidays but is ok for usual day.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Seafood were fresh, however taste wise we still prefer the cooking taste from Penang. Many people visited the restaurant and many were waiting. Guessed this is one of the favorite restaurant and many were attracted by the ratings and number of visits just like us.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The restaurant was a little difficult to find because of the different name displayed outside the building. The easiest landmark is the mini Buraq Oil petrol station which is situated opposite the restaurant. The entrance leads you to a fish wholesale market on the ground floor where the jetty is. The restaurant is on the first floor.
We had late lunch and hence it was a light one with various shell fishes. We ordered "see hum", "lala", fried oyster and deep fried squid. Food quality is pretty good and portion is reasonable. Expect to pay around MYR 20 per pax if not ordering fish, prawns/shrimps, mantis prawn or crabs. If you are ordering the more expensive seafood, expect to pay more.
The view was fantastic, overlooking the river mouth and mangrove forest. The breeze was refreshing too! It was a hive of activity when we were there with fishing boats returning and sightseeing boats buzzing around transporting visitors who signed up for boat tours.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Read about the good seafood reviews here. However, expectations were dampened. View was good though. They don't sell alcohol or Chinese tea and they don't allow BYO. And that took half the fun away.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of many restaurants at Kuala Sepetang. The foods is good and price is reasonable. All restaurants have seating facing river but need to be there before 6pm. For mantis prawn's lover, you can find a 300g to 400g mantis prawn here at RM60 per prawn.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Located at the edge of the river mouth facing the sea (located at 1st floor). As you dine you can see fisherman boat zoom in front of your view.
Extremely fresh seafood with great cooking quality. Pick your seafood and let the chef do the magic. Not to be missed is the wonderful crabs, curry prawns and mantis prawns.
'Souvenirs' such as dried sea products (dried shrimps, salted fish) and fresh fish cuts are available for you to take home at affordable price.
