★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you want to book, you should book at rumah sungai bc it easier to bring transport in and have much time to go anywhere for dinner. If you book at rumah Bukit, you will only depend on their 4×4 car to go out. The services only open from 8am-6pm. So, you can only have dinner before 6pm, if not you have to hike to your house.(it's not ok for your old parents bc it's too high for them)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Superb place to visit and escape from the metropolitan life. The Rumah Hutan is a 14 acres of forest which the owner Bonda Rozita had transformed it into a small resort which consists of chalets, rumah sungai, warung hutan, surau and fresh water fish pond. The theme of the resort is Malay and Balinese.
Activities wise, you can have your breakfast or lunch at the Warung Bonda which they open from 8.00am - 7.00pm. The best menu for lunch that we had were the grilled "telapia", "lunak" fish and "ais ribut".
If it is not enough for you guys, you can buy the frozen fishes at the downhill shop.
If you need a massage service you may book it online through their website. They have varieties of massage for men and women.
Please bear in mind, this is a private property, you need to park your vehicle at the entrance of the resort and you will be ferried up hill by 4x4 WD vehicle. You need to register before going up.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ back to nature ? love this place so much ? the landscape very nice. Take massage because all 'tukang urut' from Indonesia and you will feel so calm and relexing during massage. After massage, don't forget to go 'Rumah Sungai' and eat at Warung ? ikan lunak and chicken curry very delicious ? u won't regret

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice place to relax yourself from hustle bustle city life. The food also taste good with reasonable price. Like the Ikan lunak. For massage service you need to book earlier. They provided transportation go in further inside the rumah hutan as the road are narrow and only one vehicle can pass.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rumah Hutan Bonda - The place quite far from the city. Location cozy with green forest serounding. My first time here, I believe they offer traditional massage , medicine and many more. We keen to try the auntentic food we called "masakan kampung". It took us 10 minutes ride into the jungle.. nice cozy restaurant/cafe. We tried the ikan lunak ( ikan sungai) & some other dishes. The food just ok for me but not for my husband. Overall the place is nice , back to nature...green.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place is heavenly but the service is quite frustrating, they don’t answer the supposedly hotline and if they do no need to expect much help, barely speaking English which makes the communication even harder. Most of the instagrammable and interesting spots are private and you are not allowed to use. Check in at 15:00 and cafeteria closes at 16:00 and not much delivery can be done. You have to pay for the 4x4 in case you wanna go to reception to complain ??♀️

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I gave a 2 star review due to too many restricted area for the guest that paid to stay there and because of the food.
Stayed at Rumah Akasia and Alamanda
Pros :
1. House is on its own plot where can only be access by the guest of the house only (Privacy is good)
2. BBQ Place is provided with a kitchen sink and cleaning kit (no charcoal provided, you have to bring your own charcoal and it is free to use)
3. The environment is very relaxing and you would spend a lot of time on the gazebo with your family (lots of family time)
4. They provided you with utensils, plates, cups, bowl and microwave oven (but there are no fridge so bring an ice box to keep your food fresh).
5. Architecture and landscape is excellent.
6. Staff are friendly and helpful
Cons:
1. Rumah Hutan guest are not allowed to access Rumah Bubinga area (where all the nice photoshoot area and where the most promoted item on their FB live so its feels like a scam to pay such an exorbitant price but you can not get all the amenities)
2. No fridge
3. Your access to the outside world will be cut off at 6pm (due to no transit vehicle to the car park)
4. umobile, maxis, digi or celcom will not have a good reception (at most is E+)
5. No wifi or room service phone in the room.
6. No Shampoo provided (for hair).
7. No Buffet breakfast, 1 menu per guest and limited choice. No cereal, milk, juice or toast (not really worthy for the room price that we have paid for)
