Authentic British food, proper fish and chips with cod (Ginger beer battered), and also my boyfriend had the Sunday Roast with sirloin of beef. Generous amount. I recommend this place to everybody ☺️ ??

Had the Sunday roast, my partner had chicken while I had the beef. Portions were plentiful, and it also comes with a portion of cheesy cauliflower. The bread and butter pudding was really the highlight of the meal, so good. They also included free cups of popcorn for kids or anyone to snack on which is really thoughtful gesture. Definitely coming back. ?

Super authentic British food. Had the Sunday roast which was great with huge serving sizes. The owner is from UK so you know what you're eating is legit.

Overrated fish and chips, tasted okay. Ridiculous to have ketchup and chilli sauce in plastic wrappers. One and done, with the one being unsatisfactory upon factoring high price, average taste and portions, and poor service - re. sauce.

Finally, a place serving proper fish & chips; with mushy peas, thick cut fries, delicious flaky cod cooked to perfection in crispy batter, where you can douse it with liberal doses of malt vinegar, or HP brown sauce, and wash it down with a nice cold glass of The Wife-Beater aka Stella Artois. Really brings me back to my student days in UK.

Peanut butter milkshake is a must have... nicer than the chocolate. Corn beef and hash (fingerling potatoes I believe) is great though would have liked more corn beef (comment duly shared w chef). The sautΓ©ed red onions are quite palate cleansing as cooked with malt vinegar. Full English breakfast is with chicken sausage and bacon (full on flavour) and topped with fried slice! Came too early for the lunch (starts from 11) Sunday Roast starts at 12 (chicken or beef) tho was told you can pre-book to have it on Friday and Saturday too.. at least for this month. Ambience-wise the music is 80s synthpop and full of the greatest hits. Post - ordered the fish pie takeaway for later. Delicious! (must try!)

Wonderful choice for a very English dinner! Sampled Fish&chips, Fish Pie, Steak Pie, Sunday Roast, ? Skins n Prawn Cocktail...not to mention the sundaes ?????. After cleaning up our plates, we decided to get dessert and settled for Fruits Crumble with Ice cream n Deep Fried Mars Bar!..We were all excited n looking forward to it, but the DFMB was ran out?...the Fruits Crumble made up for it...the 80-90s music by English pop stars added to the dining experience... satisfied diners we were?????

S+I is literally everything a British restaurant can be. I admit, I had reservations about the place as it was unusually empty during dinner time, but these reservations were quickly dissipated once I tasted what I call a true iteration of British cuisine. Having lived in London as a former student for more than 3 years, tasting the food nearly brought tears to my eyes. The fish and chips were simply outstanding, although I could definitely appreciate more salt. The lesser seasoning is good to appeal to those who prefer less salty taste, but trust me, in the UK, we focus on the delicate texture of the fish itself rather than the saltiness, and S+I had done just that. The pies were also very tasty, and I appreciate the amount of meat within the pie itself. Excellent value for money. Perhaps my favourite dish of the night however, was a severe underdog. The Jacket Potatoes are simply the best iteration of such a dish I have tasted in Malaysia. For those unaware, Jacket Potatoes are a staple British dish. I remember having these to celebrate Guy Fawkes Day countless of times back in London. Truly remarkable. All in all, I’m beyond delighted to have stumbled at this restaurant and without a doubt, I will likely return for many more nights to come. To the owners, if you’re reading this, keep doing what you’re doing, serving great British food! PS: Hope you guys will consider bringing in Strongbow Dark Fruit cider as I miss it like crazy!
