★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited for new years eve. Nothing to shout about over food. Restaurant staff wore no masks, menu wasnt clear. Seems like a regular hangout space for neighbourhood folk. To me, not worth purposely visiting to try.

The first perception was already good- first we called in to make reservation, and they almost immediately called us back to inform us the live band starts off at 9pm and they would ask the singer to start off a bit later so we can catch it on time. Who does this things these days? ??? We were already amazed by their gesture even before walking in.
The place is private and cosy, sets you off on the right mood almost immediately. Love the wine display and selection area, makes it easier to browse thru, assisted by their experts tips on wine. food is delicious, we ordered both types of pasta and would highly recommend meat ball bolognese, bursting with flavours. The singer on that night - Annabell was so friendly, we felt like we were having our own private singer, she was chatting with customers in between songs, and sang to all of requested songs. We truly enjoyed our night and glad we spend the first day of the year at this place. As we were leaving they even remembered our names. Excellent customer experience!

I'd known Kathir, the person-in-charge of Salute, during his days in Chateau Decanter before he joined Salute. I was surprised to see him there when I went to Salute for the first time. As usual, service was impeccable from him as he tried to attend to every demand that we had.
Located on the same stretch of shop houses where most of the gastropubs such as Shamrock, Interlude, Sid's Pub and 42East... this wine bar is located on the first floor of a tyre shop at one corner lot.
Walk up the stairs and push open the door to be greeted by the romantically and elegantly designed interior with soft musics playing in the background. Proceed to the section where they store the wines to choose your wine of the night and then take your seat.
◾ Swedish meat balls with red wine sauce - a family favourite with the flavourful housemade balls complemented perfectly with the delicious sauce
◾iberico collar with balsamic glaze - blow torched right in front of you, I love how smoky and tender the meat was. Perfect with the wine I was having
◾Gambas Al Ajillo - few big prawns cooked to taste.. need I say more?
◾porky fries - give me a bowl anytime, everytime
◾Mussels cooked with white wine sauce - the missus could not resist this dish.
◾Smoked duck - drizzled with balsamic glaze.
◾Lamb shoulder with rosemary sauce - cooked medium as requested.
◾Pork chop with original sauce - few pieces of protein for the evening
◾Bolognese pasta with pork balls - the young ones can't get enough of pasta
◾Black Pepper Frankfurter - nothing special actually. Will skip this next time.
◾Pork bacon aglio olio - anything with bacon is delicious for me.
Although wine bar, corkage was charged reasonably at RM50 per bottle (the last time I was there so not sure if they've changed) which means I can bring my favourite bottle to enjoy the food.
