★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Popped by to have a meal of my favourite food, and found that they are sharing with Liang's Sandwich Bar, a Taiwanese franchise, which might appeal to the student population in that area. Had the char kuay teow with duck eggs and the hokkien (prawn) noodles. The soup was a bit too diluted, and the sliced meats tasted rather stale. Time for better quality control, otherwise could lose their regular customers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good portion of char kway teow with crispy lard bits, Chinese sausage, and two large large prawns. I chose the duck egg version and it was good, pretty spicy. Close to Penang style. Average wok qi. Lobak is ok. One variety is a bit too soft for my liking. Clean interior.

Duck eggs Char Kuey Teow (Big) RM 11.50 - Taste still good as old time with 3 fresh big prawns. Got siham, lap cheong and pork lards & Wok Hei too!
Quality still never disappoint me after years.
