★ ★ ★ ★ ★ While the durian cheesecake is yummy, the biscuit base turned out dry & crumbly. Also, staff seemed in a hurry to pack the cake slices for takeaway during a promotion, causing cream to be smeared onto the box.
Otherwise, service is okay.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went on 13 Feb 2022,problem started when I enter the shop. Only 2 customer were dine in at that time.
1)the counter staff were busy over the phone while taking grab order.
2) Barista were making drinks.
3) another staff were busy folding box right behind those cakes and never bother or even entertain customer nor to look around.
I ordered 1 slice of creme brulee cheesecake as the Barista encountered me. Those staff were had miscommunication among them or not bother to ask back again and packed 1 whole piece of cake and charged me Rm108. Once I clarified my 1 slice cake order, the staff were showing face and just put the cake on table and walk off without a single words without even providing cutlery. So i disappointed with all of them whom working on that shift where never respect customer needs and no manners at all.

I thought it was only me who given 1 star for this lousy SR!
Wow!
I've ordered whole cake at 11am and pickup at 3pm.
And they only 'write" on cake at 3.30pm!
Simple wording,1color.
Am so disappointed.
Service like sloth
No customer at 11am, but no greeting at all.
The one at front counter pretending to be busy.
Until hv no time to ask me what am i looking for.
Its way different when ive been there 10y ago!
Service out!
Ive been to many SR,
But this one really tarnish SR Brand.
Im signing off.
It totally nightmares!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went to secret recipe twice today. In the evening we just wanted to order a slice of cake but we had to wait 10 mins before we were served, then he asked me to use the qr code to order then when i tried to use the qr code the cake wasn't even on the menu. Then have to wait about 10 mins just to bring the cake to us. And the place was empty (no wonder) slow service
At night we wanted to get 4 slices of cakes for takeaway but the waiter say cannot only can order 3 to cram in one small box. And when we ask to write happy birthday he said cannot and only wrote hb. So lazy

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Spacious. Private. Clean. Nice service. Staffs were very polite,friendly and always smile. Love their effort by helping me to surprised my friend for her birthday. Thanks a lot. Whoever who wants to have their day at Secret Recipe please head over to SR e-Gate, cause for me it is not crowded like the one we knew in any mall. And also there were so many choices of cakes. Besides,if any of you guys who want to buy SR's whole cake, you can stop by happily at this outlet. They have a lot of whole cakes choices.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The service from the staffs from secret recipe was absolutely amazing! We enjoy our take-out iftar, buying a cakes for my niece birthday. Except, the service from the girl staff, out of the restaurant, selling the hokkaido cheese tart. Service very bad. We can accept because no smile during this pandemic situation but as staff, they should serve and greet the customer better than silent and keep busy like don't like to serve the customer. Then, give the wrong item. Luckily i remind her that she gave the wrong item and the staff didn't apologise. We know, every muslim is still puasa, if she had a bad mood, she should take a rest and don't show a bad manner to the customer. Because we asking politely to that staff. This happen last day, around 4pm-6pm. 10.April.2022 Sunday.

Not noisy and not crowded. Probably because we like a quiet place, making us very comfortable to eat while chatting.
The employees here are good at providing reasonable service. We are not human beings who are too much in pursuit of 200% perfection, but we understand, this life is not for the sake of giving maximum satisfaction to customers. That is why we think this branch deserves 5 stars to our own satisfaction. Hey! Keep up the good work. Do not give up easily.
