★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came here for dinner in a group - they had a big table to cater to us (about 10 pax) with enough space between us so that's a plus.
Shared a beef rendang w a friend and got rice on the side. The large is enough for 3-4 pax actually. The 2 of us could barely finish it.
Wouldn't recommend the bandung fizz. It was just Rose syrup w ice cream Soda. Thought it would come with actual ice cream :-(

The ambience kinda cafe vibe, and exclusive

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They serve a variety of local dishes. The beef rendang penne is recommended as the beef is well cooked and soft. The rice dishes are all tasty and portions are big. Prices are a little high for local food but it comes with quality and fast service as well. Must try, their salted egg fried squid

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I ordered the grilled chicken and it was scrumptious to say the least. The chicken was perfectly grilled and the mushroom sauce nicely complements the dish. Highly recommended. The place was quite busy at office-hour lunch time but service was still acceptable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Oddly enough I have forgotten to review this outlet but never to late. I have been to numerous different outlets and safe to say serai has rarely disappointed me. The restaurant is clean & follows the covid sop. The service is prompt & quick. Food is good and the ambience is decent. Price is acceptable for the quality and portions. I don't have much negative points per say except for 1 which is more of an annoyance rather than a true negative. I dislike servers trying to grab plates and trays while I halfway through. It has happened a number of times while I was in this outlet. I'm not sure why they are in such a rush. Its great that they are enthusiastic about clearing the plates but for god sake let me finish my meal first. Otherwise it's a pleasant experience & will be back again. On another note, I've ordered food via grab and the quality and packaging was up to par. Kudos to the team for keeping the quality up.

Recommended to indulge yourself in some luxury local food on special occasions or once in awhile. You can even introduce this place to your foreign friends which I feel represents closely the locally made cuisines.
