★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chicken was raw. I got the Chipotle chicken. First was leg-thigh quarter... It was raw. I asked it to be changed to normal fried chicken, they said cannot. Has to be Chipotle too. I didn't want the breast it's the only one left. I accepted anyway. No word of apology, but they replaced with free choco chip muffin so I let it go. The replacement breast was raw too. I lost my appetite. I brought it back to the counter. I said it was raw again but just pack it up and I'll cook it at home. They were rude again and no word of apology. Kept asking if I wanted to bungkus it. I just said bungkus coz it's raw. I might as well cook myself. They were again nice enough to replace it, although breast again. But no sorry or whatever. Just plopped a box of chicken again. Really bad service and raw chicken.
The third chicken I took home was also raw by the way. Good thing I had microwave.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pathetic piece of fried chicken. So small in size. They ran out of ketchup and chilli sauce. Took so long to get it refilled. The interior sittings were so warm, it's suffocating.

Decided to give this outlet another chance ; horrible . Really horrible . Someone pour an entire bottle of sterilizer into my grab food take away food .
I am not sure who works in the kitchen; but you DO NOT spray excessive amount of sterilizer liquid into food . It is poison . It is meant for your hand not as food .
Do not visit this outlet .

Visited this place before covid , was good .
Visited again during lunch time, and the chicken was very dry and old . Perhaps lack of customers and the chicken have been sitting there for too long . I did notice very little customers now, so might not be the outlet issue and might be more towards not many customers in this mall

Located at the bottom of Jaya shopping center, this Texas Chicken is quite packed by its standards, especially at night with family diners.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered from Grab food. The spicy fried chicken is superb and juicy. However, the mash potatoes and honey butter biscuits was far lower than average standard. Hope they can improve it ASAP.

1. Tex Masala Rice Bowl @ RM5.99 : it was not bad. Portion isnt big, u can opt to add some other stuffs. Inside the rice bowl, there is a few pieces of small chicken cuts
2. Glazed Garlic Biscuit @ RM2 : tasted like the usual garlic bread.
Not sure why, the aircond wasnt working? It was stuffy:(
