β β β β β I went to this shop today with my brother, entered the shop and we saw few person sitting but they did not treat us until my brother asked if there are any sales person to assist. Then one aunty asked what we wanted with a very unpleasant tone. She wrote the price details of the bike we asked on a piece of paper and continued what she was doing. Then we didnβt bother to stay and left to find out at other shops. We went to few shops to survey and the best will be Eang Chun Motor located in Setapak. Try to drop by and you will know how good is their service.

β β β β β I would highly endorse this motorcycle shop - Sim Motors. Why? As they are non-pushy and genuinely treating their clients. As you know βGetting a motorcycle, it feels like entered to a marriage.β
My experience with them as follow: -
For once, I had bad experience when I purchased stuff in KL. I am a foreigner, I found that people will increase their price. Flash back, due to my sisterβs birthday is coming soon and I would love to give her a surprise! Long story cut short, after bad incident with X motorcycle shop and my deposit of RM500 was not refunded. I felt so sad and helpless. But this did not stop me! Finally, I accepted my friend recommendation - to take Sim Motors as he has good experience with them.
I did pay extra attention on getting the right questions on the motorcycle and background of the company. I spoke to the sales lady β Anne. I told her that this will be for my sisterβs surprise birthday gift. She made all the efforts to go through all Scomadiβs series. When I was struggling on choosing TL125, TL125 LE and TL125 SE as to me these are the same, but she explained to me about the difference. Also giving me an idea of choosing the right colour. In between, there was a gentleman β Desmond, came over to advise me about this motorcycle as he joined the Scomadi club and he told me about how fun it was to join the club. After 3 hours of back and forth, Anne and Desmond gave me some time to think about it as I was bombarded with detailed information. While I was making decision, another lady offered me with a nice coffee. Finally, I took the steps to put down deposit. Anne did tell me that she will assist me to get the loan application approved. Everything was upfront and no hidden cost.
All these days, she and her team members kept me up to date for my application status. At last, I am glad to have the motorcycle on time for my sisterβs birthday. She cried for the surprise gift. Thank you, Sim Motors and the team members, to assist me all the way through. I know I am not easy to deal with and you guys made the effort. Fantastic job! Keep it up guys ?

β β β β β I had bought a *NEW* bike from here last year (2020). Firstly, Service is good and a lot of bike of selection. Problems start is after you purchase, like one of the comment stated, after and before purchase is totally different. After purchasing a bike, they will usually take a few days to touch up or service your bike, however what happened to my case is what was being service is only the surface, a lot of hidden issues inside that you are required to check that might be old or something. Especially when you are buying a bike that is quite old manufacture but selling as new bike here, so one customer would usually expect everything to be new, so be sure to check on every parts of the bike to see what is damaged and what is old and request them to change else no need to buy from here.
As this is my first bike and most likely my last bike purchase from this store, I will let you know what you need to check when purchasing one, here are the list, Check for scratch/ rusty parts on Side Mirror, Main Light, Red Light behind, both Side Light, Tank, inside tank, Handler Bar, speedometer, and the engine cover, next check the engine oil, lastly, check the year manufacture for the tyre also because in my case... my tyre is way older than 6 years ... it is too old for a new bike purchase.
So if you are purchasing a *NEW* bike and expecting everything to be very new, you make sure you check everything before you sign any papers, unless u are buying 2nd hand or old promotion bike. I can only consider this is my knowledge learning purchase for my first ever bike to console myself as I am quite disappointed after falling off the bike due to tyre skip sideway and found out my tyre is way too old. Good luck with the purchase if you planning to stop by the store.
