★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A worst place to have your breakfast. Went there to have some roti canai, the vendor said its already finished yet, somehow the person who went after me, can still get it. Ordered wan tan mee and roti bakar, the other stall vendors refused to serve the food on our table, was wondering what could be the reason. Is it because we are indians? Im a doctor, what if I do the same to you?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They have one of the better roti canai in this area. Nice place to be for lunch too although the roti canai stall will be closed by then. They’ve economy rice stall, chicken rice and there’re halal choices in vicinity as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This cafe is one of the stalls under a row of flats along Jalan Tengah. The surrounding hawkers stalls offer a good range of Malaysian Street food. The exceptionally good stall is the Roti Chanai in front of Sin Kim Seng cafe. Got to be early so you don’t lose out. The Penang white curry is also good value for money.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A lot of delicious local food to choose from. The steam fish head from the economy rice stall is good. The salty vegetable tofu soup with rice is also delicious with lots of ingredient such as minced pork, meat ball, pork intestine, tofu. In term of ambience, it is warm during hot sunny day due to its outdoor seating.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Growing up in this area during my childhood , I grew up eating this roti canai since small . It’s one of the best roti canai in Penang island ✅
It’s done by a Malayalee family and the turnover is really high so the roti canai are made fresh on the spot . Their curry is just something else , very different from others . ?
Each roti canai cost is RM1.20 and really crispy and nice . ?One is never enough . For me personally , I take 2 roti canai for myself .
It’s been operating in this Chinese coffee shop for many years and the roti canai shop often has long queues . The earlier you go , the faster you can get it . ☺️
