โ โ โ โ โ We've had the panels now for 6 years. No issues whatsoever, however now, I want to get it serviced/fixed but the after sales service is ridiculous. Troublesome experience, its been 5 days since my first call, and no serviceman has called me to make an appointment. They didn't even record my first call. 10 years warranty but RM180 consultation fee as well. Will not recommend at all. Lousy team. Recall the salesman not even installing our system, leaving it completely to the contractors. Stay away from solar mate.

โ โ โ โ โ After service was unpleasant initially, then they took measures to follow up. So our panel leaked after 2-3 years. First inspection charges cost RM180. On top of that, the cost of getting the warranty panel replaced is a lot. After some discussion they are willing to waive off some charges.
Then we also faced issues with our roofing, so i have a question, if we should get the roof replace first or the panel unit but the staff only reply about the extra charges that they will be charging rather than giving honest opinion on my question. I'm quite baffled with their lack of experience and only talk about the charges they plan to charge us. With no proper advise, I have to resort to go and ask around for opinion.
Their reps then called to clarify the situation, offered some advice and options on what I should do about my roofing situation. They also receive my feedback well on what I have faced.
Later they arranged to come and replace the solar. The technician found something faulty within the solar, which cost 4xx to fix.
So far no issues on my solar, they have been following up to check to see if my solar is ok. Thanks team.

โ โ โ โ โ It's hard to make a choice given so many brands in the market fighting with attractive price and warranty package, but I am happy to settle with Solarmate finally, and it's going good without any hassle for more than 8 years already. Hope that they keep the quality going!
