★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Poor quality product & wouldn't bear the full cost of replacement that should include installation.
It's their products' poor quality that caused the problems that includes having to re-do the plaster ceiling due to the tank leaking within warranty period, yet they only send the tank & washed their hands off of everything else.
Didn't even bother to install it.
And the replacement tank warranty continues from the date of hand over of the property, regardless if its the original tank or the replacement one.
And from many neighbors' feedback, even the replacement tank will start leaking not long after installation, needing it to be replaced as well.
The repeated costs of multiple installations of those tanks came up to more than it would be if were to buy a new tank of a better brand.
A below standard product.
Unacceptable quality.
Better buy other brands.
You have been warned!

Inefficiency with their service let alone their product. My condominium water heater got issues and the tenant has been calling them and I personally been calling them all they say is I’m sorry we already raise the issue to the relevant department! One thing that got me stunned is when they ask for a freaking ladder from my apartment straight to the roof ??♂️ (20 floor ladder they were expecting)
I say just taker a cold shower instead of wasting money and time with this company

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I got in touch with the team at solartech to replace my leaking water tank. The team were very efficient, organized and expedited the process to fix an appt date for me. Quality of work done is also topnotch, as they are professional, efficient and mostly importantly for me, worked very cleanly in my unit. Highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lousy in after sales service, not able to set the appointment for fixing the problem within the warranty period. I have called-in to log the problem and request for appointment but they couldn’t give the appointment date since 1 week ago. The water heater itself is not reliable. U have been installed 2 units in 2019 but both units keep giving problems.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My house water heater and solar has been spoiled. I got replaced it New by water hippos team. They are so helpful and their service are really fast and satisfied. Thanks to MR Vel Rooban who did the good job and share many good info with me about the water heater and solar maintenance.

The team/technicians was well mannered and good at their work; good team work too.
Thanks to Mr Ted too for being patience and accommodating. Kudos to waterhippos for training them well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst customer service. Calling on behalf of my customer to request a technician to fix the backwash issue. First person able to answer call with confidence, but for no reason the call suddenly switch to another person. So I have no idea why this happen, but no problem I just give her the customer particular so she can communicate with my customer regarding the appointment. But during the procedure she was too soft-spoken and I don't really understand what she is explaining, so i request to speak to another person, which is even worst... keep asking me for customer detail which i have given twice in a single call. Cannot communicate well and no manner.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Installation was done very professionally. On-site Technicians and Engineers were very meticulous and careful in their work.
Job quality was really quick and well arranged among the whole installation team. The whole process of replacing my old unit just took over 3 hours. Crane operator was as gentle and swift like a bird.
