★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the Taman Chai Leng's famous yum rice shop down the road. Second shop next to first.
Ordered take away for 2pax = RM10(cheap) without rice, after few days we ordered for 3pax take away but get charged RM20(without rice)!
The owner said 3pax was RM20 so have had to agree with that but turned out the portion same as 2pax portion! Face palm & disappointed.
Sorry banned from my list - there are plenty other good yum rice shops at BM and s. prai area.

The pork soup uses salted vege as a base and has just a right amount of saltiness. It can be ordered with or without offal and the basic without offal comprises a mix of pork belly, sliced meat and meat balls.
The yam rice is smallish but satisfying. It contains bits of dried shrimp that enhances its flavour. Comes with spicy chilli paste mixed with dark soya sauce

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the BEST 芋头饭猪杂汤 i have ever had. Been patronising this shop for many years . Taste, standard and portion never drop. Compared to the next shop, this is simply better. However pls be ready to sweat like cat and dog in a hot day. It's like a oven in there. The only minus it has.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice tasty yam rice with sour pork soup. Simple dish sold at this old kopitiam, the soup is very tasty and comes in a good portion. The yam rice meanwhile is nice and flavorful with good chunks of fluffy yam.
Apart from the standard yam rice and pork soup, they also have pork leg in vinegar or pork leg in soya sauce, green vegetables as well as braised egg and taukuah.
Parking can be a hassle but I got lunch today to be able to park right in front of the shop.
Meal cost RM8 which I thought was a fair price.
