★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I recently tried to sign up for drum lessons here and was really disappointed with the service I received. I confirmed with one of their instructors via Whatapp conversation that I would be in on Saturday at 2 PM for our first lesson. When I arrived that day, no one greeted me until 2:10, then they asked me if the lessons were for me or if they were for my son, even though I don't have a child and never mentioned children and always made it clear in my communications with them I'd be the participant. Weird, but not a deal breaker.
They then explained their pricing to me, and that they collect a non-refundable deposit equal to the amount of monthly lessons, which goes towards your last month of lessons. That was strange to me. The registration fee I understand, but why not just charge by the month or require customers to sign up for 3 or 6 months? As someone that wasn't sure I wanted to pursue lessons past my first trial month it felt like a weird money grab.
Lastly, after all of the back and forth over pricing, they informed me that I'd never "confirmed" I'd be there on Saturday for my lessons so the teacher wasn't available and I couldn't start that day. I pulled out my phone and re-read aloud the conversation in which my lesson was confirmed and the guy behind the desk couldn't give me an answer?
It almost seems as if they didn't want my business. On what planet is that an acceptable way to do business?! There wasn't even an apology that I'd wasted my time coming in that day, simply a "The instructor isn't here, *shrug*" I told him it didn't sound like he could help me and that I was leaving and he just said "ok" and buzzed the door open. Bizarre!

Cozy & convenient environemnt, friendly & passionate music teacher. Students are able to learn how to work together with others through student band & orchestral.
