β β β β β Got to know about this shop based on recommendation from Facebook ICE forum. And after checking the ratings from Google map, it gives me confidence to go check out this shop. Basically I have one unit of DSP to be installed into my existing ICE setup. So I asked to be quoted on the installation of the dsp as well as tuning package. The price is probably slightly a bit more expensive than normal but given my experience with car audio, price can be subjective and sometimes paying an extra one or two hundred more is ok if the end result is superb. As you will get to enjoy your nice car audio for many years to come instead of trying to fix something or trying to always get a nice sound from your system. Sound DJ has the experience and you can see from their past years participating in car audio competition and raking up trophies (mind you, i did not know about this when i was recommended, only notice when i go to their shop)
Fair enough, this installer here, managed and run by two brothers, they are professional and I am absolutely happy with the overall service provided. I am definitely happy with the end result and as long as they charge a bit more premium than other installer, I think it is justified. Will I go back again in future? Oh yes, you bet I will. It is not easy to find good installer with the skill to tune audio system in Penang. For now, Sound DJ rocks until I can find another good installer around. It is time for me to stop writing this review and go back enjoying my car audio system installed and tuned by Sound DJ. ;)
