β β β β β A typical Murugar temple. Simple but well maintained with prayers done correctly. Its beautiful if u take time to admire. Have some parking areas inside but you can park outside too.

β β β β β North Of Kuala Lumpur, Batu Caves are series of limestone caves and contains one of the largest statues of Lord Murugan (42.7m in height). Tamil trader K. Thamboosamy Pillai built this temple in 1890 and is now a favored tourist place in Malaysia.
The temple hosts the famous Hindu festival of Thaipusam every year and attracts tourists from Malaysia, India, Australia and Singapore.

β β β β β A well known Murugan Temple in Sungai Petani, Kedah and in Malaysia. Major festival includes Thaipusam and Kandha Sasthi -(may include other religious festivals too). However known best for thaipusam for its scales and turnout. A divine and religious space for Hindus. Temple also has a multipurpose hall which usually hosts religious events and marriages.

β β β β β Visited on 13th Apr 2019. Very neat and calm Murugan Temple. Separate sannidhi for Lord Vinayaga, Muniswarar and Navagragam. Covered shelter for Peacock's. Prayer hall with spacious car parking. Can feel the inner peace in this temple. Walk-able distance from Ukir square bus terminal and Sungai Petani KTM (Train Station). Nice place for weekend plans.
