β β β β β This place is the most recent hardware store in SS19. It is strategically located and I can get free parking at the junction of the service lane, often vacant coz away from the centre of SS19 CBD or under the shade of nearby trees. Sometimes because of parking issues, I end up entering from the rear which they make open and also brings in fresh air. Boss Mr Lai and wife are humble, friendly and speak good English which becomes easy for me because most hardware item are known by its English technical term. They are very knowledgeable. If any, they tend to stock the more popular items. The wife is very polite and always checks if I can afford the slightly more expensive item coz we both agree they offer better quality and even last longer. As for pricing, like most hardstores, when one becomes a regular, there is a better chance of securing a slightly cheaper price. They have 2 fat watch-cats which donβt really guard the shop.

β β β β β One of two hardware shop in the area. Server urgent or stop gap needs of renovation contractors or DIY enthusiasts. Also can get bricks, sand, lumber and can arrange for delivery. Friendly and helpful owners.
Conveniently located beside a paint shop.
