★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rest station with toliets free boiled water, tea and perhaps some entertainment of monkeys trying to steal stuff. Watch your belongings.
Freindly attendants and well used by locals doing fitness routines.
A well needed rest after the straight up climb from the botanical gardens

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A nice stopover after Climbing the 1000+ steps from the Botanical Gardens. It’s about a third of the way up Penang Hill. There is water and toilet facilities, also lots of seating. Looks a bit run down though.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good for a half an hour short climb on jungle track and step routes. Local coffee and plain water are provided by volunteers at the Station No. 46. Normally hikers will proceed to Station No. 84 in tarmac road which is partially flat and sloping (less than 15 ° gradient). From Station 84 it takes another 40 minute to one hour hike to the Penang Hill top, a tourist spot.
