★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is LRT Sri Petaling line connecting Putra Height to Sentul Timur, Kl and to Ampang/Pandan line. From putra height station you can change platform to go to Klana Jaya line which connect putra Height to USJ, Subang Jaya, Glemmarie, Klana Jaya, P.Jaya, Kerinchi, KL sentral station, Bandaraya Sogo/Station, Kg Baru, KlCC, Keramat, Setiawangsa, Wangsa Maju and all the way to the last MRT station in Gombak. You also can go ti Sentul Timor or Ampang/pandan Area with this line. This Awan Besar Station is part of MRT 2 project. Modern, new station which have both men and women toilet. There is also a surau for muslim man and women.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Among all the Lrt stations I had been, this is the worst Lrt location. Sandwiched by both sites - OUG and Bukit Jalil 's high-rise concrete condos but very difficult to accessible by walking....not easy for those elderly to use this Lrt station unless, you need a lot of patience and times to wait and travel by Rapid bus provided nearby.
Both roads linked to this station from OUG and Bukit Jalil is incomplete and hilly, even you stayed nearby the condo....worst is during raining......don't take risk....too many constructions going-on.....flooded and muddy with potholes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Depart home from 10am, was supposed to reach at 10.30am, but I took the wrong turn thanks to confusing Google Maps. Tell me to turn left but the left not to station but to Holland. In the end, surprisingly need about 15km to reach back to the station AND need to PAY toll and stop at R&R. Looks like to go to Awan Besar is like at other state rather than in KL. In the end, also arrived safely. I go to the station to get my card. Everything was fast and smooth. Station clean.
