Always love to take pic here. Reminds us the bond between siblings. Bloods runs thicker than water. Again it's well kept wall art. Good job!

It has never came into my mind to play the role as a tourist on the land where I was borned and raised - The Pearl of the Orient, Penang. After so many years being away for about 19years, quipped with my DSLR and ever handy and helpful Samsung Note 10+, I adventured into the tourist bustling neighbourhood in Georgetown City. In understanding what is so interesting for tourists to visit Penang and made the name internationally recognised, I walked the same path and took the same paper printed map that the tourists have on hand. To my suprise... Wow. What I can say is that my adventure will continue till I find out more about the land I was brought up. I believe Penang has grown to a place not only for good food, but it has gone into establishing itself as a place for arts, culture and heritage. For tourists who read this review, take your time to explore different places within the island. Hire private cars to drive around as its very eye-opening for you to find places that you will fall in love. If you are unsure of certain things, ask around tourist centres. This will help you to get accurate information.

We had so much fun as a family wandering around Georgetown looking for the elusive street art of Penang.

One of my favorite street art pieces in Georgetown. I think it’s so iconic that you can’t go here and not take a shot by it!! Such a beautiful beach! We camped here with some friends and it was such a great time! There is phytoplankton and so many stars above which makes it so incredible! If you are a nature lover I definitely recommend coming here and staying over night!! If you have any questions feel free to ask us: @wanderlust.lovers on fb/instagram

This painted wall mural was done by a local artist named Louis Gan. This wall mural / Penang Street Art depicts most likely a brother and a sister having fun on the swing. The road sign “Step by Step Lane” is also installed as part of the art work and is not an actual road sign. This art work can be found at Chulia Street Ghaut (at a back alley of a printing warehouse). It graces the wall of the printing warehouse in an alleyway off Chulia Street Ghaut, Step By Step Lane, in George Town, Penang.

Beautiful, iconic street art. Best to see the art work early as crowds tend to pick up later on in the day and to beat the heat. Their is some slight walking from art work to art work but nothing strenuous. Art seems to be deteriorating hopefully they can do something before it looks unrecognisable.

Walk around just to catch a glimpse of one of those street arts...a unique thing to do. Many tourists cycle around to seek out these art pieces. Not too well marked, but look at it like treasure hunt. Sure it is hot, but that is part of travelling. This piece allows kids and adults alike to sit on the swings for photo op. There is another pieces next to it by a different artists. It is granny selling ice kacang, perhaps.

It feels like you go on a scavenger hunt, since the drawings are all over the town. And I found it a great way to motivate people to explore every street of Penang. Every street has more than just a drawing, so I definitely advice you to go on this ‘Wall Street art’ hunt and also see some very cool hidden markets, amazing cafes, interesting buildings.
