Amazing service! Amy is so meticulous and it gives me comfort that my family events are always in her good hands. She is warm and professional. Informations I need is always at her fingertips! For me who is always busy with either work or children and has little ideas on where, what, how, Amy is God sent?

Amy and her team from Sugar & Spice is very helpful and genuine. We highly recommend team if you are looking for a trusted wedding planner in PENANG. Although we did not take up Amy’s full package as per Amy’s advice due to our personal circumstances, Amy was still able to give us very useful advice in terms of our budget and planning at no cost. Sugar & Spice definitely has their client’s needs and expectations at heart to make their day a memorable one.

Sugar and Spice Events literally saved our wedding from disaster and made it the most beautiful wedding weekend we could have asked for. We knew we were taking 2 huge risks: 1. Planning our wedding in Penang from overseas in the US; and 2. Deciding on a very unconventional venue: an outdoor site that had just opened and had never had a wedding there before. We knew without a wedding planner that our wedding would be a disaster. The first time we spoke to Amy, we loved the personal touch - the first questions Amy asked us were not about logistics, but about our story and how we met, and what aspects of our lives we wanted to convey through the wedding (unlike other wedding planners that went through laundry lists of todos). This helped set the tone because we wanted to keep the sacredness of marriage and our guests feeling loved at the forefront, instead of logistics, and we felt Amy shared that vision with us. This feeling of shared vision continued throughout the many Whatsapp fall sessions she had with us over the nine months. Not only that, she and her team are logistics masters! So many things broke down in the days leading up to our wedding - our venue changed management, the new management were extremely incompetent to the point they never checked their email, the outdoor canopies from the vendor were not what we expected, we needed a last minute generator for our electricity needs, a massive thunderstorm happened the night before our wedding which felled 600+ trees in Penang, it started pouring with rain just as we walked down the aisle... all throughout, S&S and Amy were just super calm, composed but silently running around fixing things and offering solutions. They made us feel like nothing was going wrong, even when things were literally breaking around us. So many of our family and guests came up to us at the end and told us how well taken care of they felt. So much of this is thanks to Amy, Suying and Kee, in helping us choose the vendors (including a coconut man and nyonya food provider with live char koay teow stall), design a space from scratch (given the venue was not set up at all for weddings) that was hospitable and beautiful, and coordinating the complex event flow (with a tea ceremony, church ceremony, and reception back to back) and keeping everything running on time, with grace, despite all the challenges. Amy has become a friend to us, we are so thankful to have gotten to partner with her ❤️ We highly recommend her to plan your wedding or any event you’re planning to host — we wish she could continue coordinating our lives for us! If you need a professional event manager to coordinate every little aspect of your wedding so all you have to do is show up, just give Amy a call. That woman will put your mind at ease and make sure everything goes as planned. Being a foreigner, I wasn't too sure if the local talent could pull off the wedding of our dreams but Sugar & Spice Events came up tops. They delivered as promised. Kudos to Amy and everyone involved. My wife and I are truly grateful. We'll be contacting Amy again for my in-laws' 40th anniversary. I'm sure she'll do a fantastic job once more.

We are so happy with Amy and her team’s effort. Hands down! Amazing bunch of ladies #girlspower ! Not only they are professional, they are helpful and resourceful. With prep work and vendor engagement, Amy was amazing from the moment we engaged her. She was timely, efficient and even found ways to help us save money from things that we wouldn’t even know we could from the first place. We had 2 reception dinners at different venues and she found ways for us recycle and reuse stuff and planned out everything efficiently. She was great at negotiating with other vendors and venues staff to help us save a few bucks here and there. Not only that, she was great at communicating with our family members and keeping them in the loop. She was amazingly patient and understanding with all the last minute changes our family insisted and adapted to the changes pretty much seamlessly. We had a 2 day wedding and these ladies were magnificent! My husband and I didn’t need to worry about a single thing with itinerary or wardrobe changes.Her girls were on top of things from the get go and our wedding day went on smoothly with minimal crisis. There probably was some crisis like any other weddings, but I think my husband and I didn’t even notice because they pretty much handled them beautifully! We couldn’t have had this amazing 2 days wedding without Amy and Her Spice Girls ! Thanks ladies ! Jim and I will always remember how precious and beautiful planned out our wedding was. Amy is a saviour to our wedding. The first time we met, she was friendly and organized . My husband and I did not have any idea on the wedding at all. Within 2 hours of discussion with Amy, we came out with the overall idea of how our wedding will be like. On the wedding day, it turned out to be a fairytale wedding that I wanted it to be. From the first time I met Amy all the way back in 2019, I knew that I wanted her to be my wedding planner. She has a great personality and I just felt like she would click with what I had envisioned for my wedding. I had planned for my wedding to be in 2021, even when it was 2019, and Amy was communicating with me all the way (1 and a half years!).
