★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very quiet, almost deserted, shop. We were browsing. The sales assistant, in her 60s, was rude, arrogant, unhelpful and assuming. The ability to speak in a pleasant manner can go a long way in creating happy customers. That she could not effectively communicate is not good for the business owner as communication is a vital part of persuasion, and people, especially customers, create perceptions about the business's culture based on the language used by its staff. Guess what? We finally bought what we needed, totally stress-free, delivered within a few days, from Amazon. Amazon has a vast range of better quality Buddhist paraphernalia at a fraction of prices in this shop. Do check Amazon out. Just google - you'll be Amazed with buying made stress-free, easy and cheap.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ OK, so I've seen some negative reviews here and in my opinion they are completely undeserved. Maybe the authors are some tree-hugging new-age types, who expect everyone to say namaste followed by a group hug.
This place is a great, no nonsense shop for every serious meditator and practitioner od Buddhism. Staff is helpful, selection fairly good, prices affordable.
Bought a great meditation mat and some rare incense here. Highly recommended.
