โ โ โ โ โ Sun Fong Bak Ku Teh is formally known as Sun Hong Muk Koot Tea. They started their long since the 1960s, this place has drawn lots of Hong Kong & Taiwanese tourists. And many superstars had left their footprints and mouthprints here. Now the restaurant is proudly hanging their photos with the celebs to the patrons. The "Wall of Fame" is full of snapshots of celebrities who've been here, as well as politicians including a former Thai prime minister.Their Bak Ku Teh is the main attraction. It's tasty and worth checking out, but you'll probably find better versions elsewhere in KL or PJ.
Coming for a Bak Ku Teh meal, Yao Cha Guai (Oil Fried Ghost) is a must must. As for their Tau Foo Pok, itโs just a common dish and nothing special about it. To try their Bak Ku Teh, they always recommend the yam rice. Itโs kinda clumpy. Kinda so so too..Then the Pigโs Kidney and Liver in Ginger Wine Soup, the soup is tangy and not much patrons would like to eat this delicacy. I ordered additional side dish like this Pork Intestine, the intestine taste good and soup wise is abit light. And then thereโs another delicacy, the Pigโs Trotter in Black Vinegar, quite a popular Hakka dish. The dish is flavorful and delicious, however not the best one in town.

โ โ โ โ โ So good Bak Kut Teh in town, especially open since 7am.
I always wonder why ppl dont serve this dish in mornings then I found this restaurant to ease my craving :))
I love the taste of soup so muchhh. But when you ask for refill (free), its not the same one.
Price reasonanle, we went there in group 7 pax and cost each of us around 25rm for full.
Their drinks also ok. I like the winter melon tea with longan.
Will try their Musang King cendol next time.

โ โ โ โ โ Food is really below average. Went there at 12pm on a Sunday. A lot of things were sold out (I suspect they just didnโt have those items in the first place).
Bkt no taste. Everything is pricy. Itโs just really a disappointment. Better off getting those packet bkt and cook yourself at home.

โ โ โ โ โ To me, Sun Fong is one of the better bat kut teh restaurants out there, and the highlight for me is their dry bat kut teh. The taste was intense with the savory, sweet and spicy flavors coming through, and the shredded dry cuttle fish that accompanies the dish gives it another layer of taste and texture that I really like. As a family, this is one of our regularly frequented bat kut teh restaurant over the years, and the taste has been consistent throughout. If you happen to be around the area, do give Sun Fong a try!

โ โ โ โ โ Still one of Bak Kut Teh you muat try in Kuala Lumpur.
After Pandemic we visit in April 2022 and the taste is still very good. We order a lot and just pay almost RMY 200.
Very recomended and easy to parking your car.
