โ โ โ โ โ This award winning Cantonese restaurant serves one of the, if not the best non-halal dimsum in KL. Let Alex Au, the Executive Chef of Li Yen show you the truly irresistible Chinese classics without the need to step out of the country. Every dish was perfectly crafted to bring out the best flavors of Hong Kong. The staff were super attentiveโ they will literally run to you even when you accidentally make the slightest eye contact!
Dining here costs a little more than most dimsum places in KL but youโll know (and appreciate) the great difference dining with Li Yen. In comparison to another five star hotel within the Golden Triangle, prices at Li Yen are at least 30 percent lesser than what you pay for at Yun House @ Four Seasons.

โ โ โ โ โ Beautiful cosy and elegant restaurant.
Dim sums and the chee cheong fun were absolutely to die for.
We ordered the Peking duck which was quite nice even though we would have preferred the seasoning to be more flagrant.
Service was very attentive.

โ โ โ โ โ A Touch of Luxury To A Traditional Delicacy
First off, this is a review on their Moet & Chandon Champagne Mooncakes and not a dine-in.
Cast your eyes to the skies and back at a mooncake (or at lease the traditional ones) . Recognise the resemblance? Traditionally round in shape, a mooncake represents a full moon and is often paired with tea served in delicate porcelain fine china. Ritz Carlton Kuala Lumpur however has taken this traditional delicacy and elevated it with a touch of luxury and elegance infusing Moet & Chandon Champagne into its petite snow skinned mooncakes.
As we opened the box, we caught a whiff of the alluring aroma, igniting the closet child within us. Eagerly, we sliced the soft and delicate skin to reveal the yellow paste with its fireball of a yoke. Though it has the faintest of flavour and scent of champagne, it is sufficient to excite oneโs palate.

โ โ โ โ โ For a Chinese restaurant service was alright. The team were polite but they were not knowledgeable about the food on the menu. We then ordered a few dishes, the tofu, liyen noodles and Sakura shrimp with vegetables were good.
The grouper slices with spicy sauce was very sour. And we mentioned no chicken on the noodles but in the end, there were still chicken.
Decor of the restaurant is nice. But there's always something uninviting about the decor at ritz Carlton KL.
The bill took forever to arrive. All in all, food was good, but so is village roast duck - so no reason to come back here.

โ โ โ โ โ Dimsum is delicious & i dont mind paying for such price. The peking duckโs meat is very tough (i wont order it during my next visit). Liyen signature noodle is nice too. Ambiance is instagrammable.
Service is good but they hired many young, school leavers who have no knowledge about the food. Thatโs quite a turn off.
Fried avocado dimsum is something different & delicious.
Will definitely go back for more.

Todayโs lunch was bad beyond description! Service is bad - get the orders wrongly, mixed up the orders of different table, noodle came cold & so starchy but chef replaced it, the table never set properly (no napkin, no sauce), no one pour tea & add water & a long list. Sighhhhhhh
I feel so embarassed as I recommend Li Yen to my friends & bring them here today to try but ended up with such service!!!

โ โ โ โ โ Disappointed with the service. Waited 40 minutes for the first dish and another 20 minutes for the other. Tea wasnโt being refilled even though we have finished it. Reflected the situation to the service crew and manager. Even though their apology doesnโt look sincere, I hope they improve it in the future. Food was ok but due to the delay in serving, we certainly did not get to enjoy the food.

โ โ โ โ โ De best Cantonese cuisine restaurant in KL. The head waitress is so professional in her job. She has been working there for more than 20 years! Always good at her food recommendation and some of the dishes are only available in LiYen. Surprises and yummilicious ?
