The market is a good place to get fresh seafood, meat, chicken, vegetables, eggs, dried produced, fruits and etc. The area is also flanked by a few kopitiam (coffee shops) and is a good location for breakfast and bunch. For those who likes to exercise will also appreciate the taman jajar Sg Ara which is only a stone throw away.
C	Chan Chong Sun on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Interesting place to do your marketing but a bit congested. You can buy some local vegetables and herbs planted by market gardeners. The roasted pork sold by an elderly lady by the road side is the best in Sungai Ara area.

There are a few coffee shops with wonderful hawker food like koay kat, loh mee, lam mee, curry mee, chee cheong fun, porridge etc. Around end of December to Chinese New Year, you can find some really good home-made cookies. It is also a great market for people looking for local produce like various types of bananas, durians, fresh bamboo leaves (for bak chang), fresh fish, live crabs, vegetables etc. If you happen to be in the area, you might find a gem or two here.

Like fresh vegitable, seafood, cooking seasoning, cooking hardware, fruits...etc. Convenient for resident stay around SG. Ara, Relau and Bayan Baru area. Price is reasonable and seller was friendly too.
