Sunset Junction

Food was great (BBQ lamb is a must order item, saba & lala was very nice too), beer slightly expensive. Love the ambience, feels like sitting on a beach. Good place to hang out and chit chat with friends. Deduct one star because one of the short hair waitress (or owner) was quite rude. she showed black face to us when my friend told her that she served the wrong order.

Sunset Junction, the setting with warm low lighting, is depicting a place where one come to chill, chitchat & enjoy good food….sit on beach deck chair seating. Of course, with some beer to make that sunset junction come alive in our mind & mood. I have visited this place 3 times – our first visit ( my friends introduced me to this place ) was really an unpleasant experience, not with the food but with the service of their staff. Some say not the staff then we will assumed whom then. Rude, service staff gesture showing unwillingness to serve and things requested just don’t come. I said to my friends that this will be my last time here with my family. Then why the change of heart ? That same friend again asked us to come, saying that thing had changed and staff are now more polite and service getting better. So we came and pleasantly everything went well, foods were pleasantly nice, namely – BBQ mutton ( could be their signature dish ) the way this dish is served is correct by cutting them in bite size for ease to eat and compliment well with beer. Deep fried sotong, the flour has a fragrance of a delightful eggy flavor…. well done !! The next one is a hit dish to chill sitting on deck chair, the deep fried shrimps, awesome, we ordered again. The lala cooked with broth heavy with flavor of garlic and spiced with chilli padi is another dish to try, if you have not. Then the saba fish, fresh, meaty and nice. I have read several other reviews that complained about the rude and the “like unwillingness” to serve, service. I do hope the owner do also read all the positive reviews and improve on the negative ones. Make the Sunset Junction an awesome place to come for good food, chill and busy bustling with customers having a great time and leaving satisfied. Win Win … a smile is so easy & will defuse tension with any understanding customers. My 3rd visit was a pleasant one as well and I also see almost full house….. awesome !!

Very nice bbq food from selection of lamb, saba, fried chicken wing... Personally I preferred their saba and lamb... They served green mussel and lala too..... Definitely will return ??

With Sam Hui song playing and the old ceiling fan squeaking... It felt like time warp back into 80s. As most posted, the grill lamb definitely recommended as it smokey flavoured tenderized bite size is great. Kembong fish was also crispy crunchy and fresh. The seafood is fresh. The Sunset Quench is fizzy and refreshing. The beach chairs were nice touch to the place. Overall interesting ambience and great food but leaning toward high price.

A unique place to chill out on a work week. Great food??Must try lamb, really juicy BBQ chicken wings, Kembong Fish and La La ( chilli garlic Clams ). Lively music playing in the background. Had great fun tonight?❤️not too noisy, we could managed conversations.

Your down to earth neighborhood family F&B. Min decoration. Seems to be a popular outlet but I went there for can beer...not food Maybe next time...I try the food.

-The smoked lamb was 'ada umph'. Smells great and tender. I went there twice just because of it. Guy's got skills. -Great hospitality, helpful and friendly staffs.

A simple and cosy place for grilled meat and beer, either alone or in a group. Nice nostalgic HK music from the 80s too.
