★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Hokkien Mee is pretty good and very popular, have to get there early usually is sold out before 10. Best time to go around 08:00 at weekend, maybe 09:00 weekdays. Many other things in same coffee shop.

A lot of customers, need to wait.
Tips for waiting : come early, in the morning 7plus am.
If later then that, buy a newspaper.
This is my no 1 prawn mee in town . ( my choice)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are prepared to wait a long time and get screamed at by the proprietor that then go ahead and try it. Not sure if they have a system but folk who order later may get served first. The noodles are good for sure though so if you can tolerate the wait by all means try it.

This ain't no hawker food.
This is Michelin grade, take it or leave it.
To be fair, the owner did warn for a long wait during order.
Just not worth it for me, even though it tasted good.
There are many other stalls in Penang.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Arrived early at 7:09, noodle arrived at 7:50. Regrets? Nope. 100% satisfaction? OH YES! Hands down my fav prawn noodle on the island. I’m glad this has few reviews, it needs to remain a hidden gem.
