★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came here a few times with my better half. Despite the busy restaurant, one person that always accommodates us (customers) was JOSHUA. Friendly, polite and hardworking. He seems to understand our needs and love for sushi- thus always bringing the right sauce/spice for us as requested. Bravo and keep up the good job.
Also, one experience as we walked in and it was the last order around 9.15pm, he still managed to accommodate us.
Always happy to come here — my now new favourite SUSHI ZANMAI branch!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ gonna have to agree with the previous review, but there is only one harsh staff and it was the cashier; light skin, wore a shirt with a black tie on, the only one wearing tie (zacky maybe?). would you please investigate his unhappiness? because it sucks when your customers wanna de-stress by eating out and then, they saw this staff, feels like i dont wanna go back there. other staffs than the black tie guy are friendly and accommodative. just don't ruin your face brand zanmai. cause you guys actually have good foods that i like. oh yeah improve on the timing too please, waited for 25 minutes for our sushis to arrive. meh.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sushi Zanmai offers consistent taste and quality throughout its branches at Avenue K, Mid Valley Megamall and KL East Mall. My order staples include chuka wakame, nato (which is not offered in most Japanese restaurant I've been to), seasoned baby octopus and grilled squid. Other favorites include saba teriyaki, chawan mushi and chicken karaage. Sushi Zanmai is essentially a family favorite for its good food at a reasonable price point.
