★ ★ ★ ★ ★ more ferry to pulau tioman compare mersing jetty, washroom superb* mostly like newly renovated. if you plan to park here, need to be here by 5am, limited parking space. about 6am ticket counter open "if you plan buy last minute" weekend parking RM12.

parking lot very under dimensioned so we had to park on the walking path. Why dont they have parking?
otherwise it was ok.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a more convenient departure point for Tioman island and the toilets are surprisingly clean. However the jetty to board the ferries do not have floating pontoons which means passengers have to walk down the jetty steps with their luggage in hand and take a big step onto the ferry. Fortunately the staff helps with the luggage but for people with walking difficulties like the elderly, this may be a bit challenging. A floating pontoon would ensure a level boarding platform that can accommodate a plank onto the ferry, making it easier and safer.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place clean. have a few stall selling a fast food, souvenir and cloths. If you want get some cheap stuff or item you can go nearby shop only take between 5 to 10 minutes by walk. At the jetty also have nearby hotel. you can reach here by public transport ( you can please the bus driver to stop at Tanjung Gemok. Bus to Mersing from KL usually pass by the jetty ) or own transport which you can park here and be charge.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lack of parking spaces especially if you go there on weekend. First come first serve. They charge rm10 per day. Facilities are okay. Clean toilet. Have stalls if you want to buy some waffles or snacks
