Amazing experience highly recommended!! This is a hidden gem in the alleys of bukit bintang. Food is authentic Iraqi food, amazing flavours, perfectly cooked and reasonably priced. The food served fresh out of the grill with fresh tannor bread. The best middle eastern cuisine in KL so far. itโ€™s in a hidden kinda entrance you might miss it, but please look it up. The atmosphere is so cozy, filled with traditional Iraqi cute things from the past, staff is so friendly, definitely worth a visit.

Tried set of kebabs, baba ghanoush & milk tea. You get a large bread paired with it. Different experience, tea was the highlight for me, soothing.

It's for me the best middle east restaurant in Kuala Lumpur. The lentil soup (on the house) is delicious. The fresh baked bread is very good and perfect to accompany the humus and baba ghanoush. The atmosphere is very cozy

If you haven't tried shinina drink before, please don't try it unless you like saulty kinda lassi. They were not prepared for foods but they already opened unfortunately and many people waited so long. The foods are quite nice though.

Something new to the usual Middle Eastern fare. Place was well decorated. Plates fancy. Waiters attentive. Place a bit small. Parking was a bit of a hassle but you have the parking touts providing โ€œparking assistanceโ€ service (paid him RM5). Avoided getting a rice meal since I wanted to try something new. But there was one that came with rice anyways. Not sure which one though ?. Meats fell off the bone. Kubba halab tender. Complimentary soup was delicious. Some food probably needs some getting used to since some are slightly sour / citrusy / cooked with dried apricots (I canโ€™t really tell what it is). Maybe itโ€™s supposed to taste like that but it just didnโ€™t match what I imagined. I wish they had pictures for all on their menu. Over ordered since we couldnโ€™t imagine the portion size. Lol. The yoghurt drink was the salty kind. Not the vitagen kind. Had the tea with cardamom. It was really good.

I love the cold mezze starter platter. The complimentary lentil soup was delicious. We also had the grilled mix platter of meats and the lamb Quzi rice. Needles to say we are stuffed after that meal. Satisfying Sleep inducing dinner. Followed by the Original Chai which was cardamom flavored to clerks the palate.

Looking something new on middle east cuisine. I recommend this Iraq cuisine restaurant. The food is fresh. They serve in very big portion. Worth it. The lamb shank (Quzi Rice) is delicious and the humus too. The bread is freshly made from furnace.
