M	Mior Effendi Mior Md Salleh on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Decent Guest House with an ex navy komando as an owner with a friendly, excellent knowlage & experience about local people & place around. Very nice place to stay with a walking/hiking distance to Jeti Kuala Tahan and local shop & food stall.
C	Ching hau Ng on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was fooled by the shabby looking exterior, the rooms and facilities were excellent, with a great view of the river to boot. They services provided were also great. We especially had fun with the rapids shooting. The night safari was not what I expected, but it was enjoyable with a large group. Tebing is located near Kuala Than, still there is a host of other activities for visitors too!

R	Rob Childs on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely medium sized guest house located on the edge of KT about 5 minutes walk from the floating restaurants/where boats go across to the park itself. It's clean, well maintained and has a pleasant setting around a courtyard with views to the river from the front. They have a range of ensuite rooms from single to family all with ac I believe. It's a family owned and run place and that really does come across in the service and the friendly atmosphere of the place. Obviously it's part of the families living but you can tell the guest experience is also very important to them. Breakfast was 15rm and featured a small buffet plus the option of pancakes and eggs made to order - it was mostly excellent especially the banana pancakes imo. The property has parking which is useful on site plus if you wish for convenience the owner can help organise boats and tours on the river/within the park. I know many people especially westerners stay at the fancy resort across the river which certainly has its plus points but for those not wishing to spend extravagant sums I'm very sure this is by a distance the best accommodation to be had in the area.

So fun talking with him and he had the best suggestions for me to do, even set up most of it for me! Couldn’t have found a better place to stay in the rainforest. Beautiful, clean, nice rooms, right by the river and a short walk to some really great local food! I wish I could of stayed longer and I will definitely be back! I highly recommend if you visit this is BY FAR the best place to stay! :)

Rooms are clean, breakfast taste good with an amazing view. If I ever come back to the national park no doubt I’ll go back there. Only 5 minutes away by walk to the river and the national park entrance. Thank you again for everything. ?
