★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Give one star just to post this. Totally agree with the rest on the customer service experience. Totally rip off. Brand is premium but service totally unacceptable. Will not buy any Teka products at all.

Another 16days are gone, called them 2 times, texted the manager 2 times(no response), called many times (no answer/unreachable). Kept telling me to wait for their technician to call me to quote me how much will the repair bill be. After 23 days, im still waiting. Should have called an independent repairman instead.?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As a user of TEKA products of more than fifteen (15) years comprising of cooker hood, gas hob and kitchen sink counter top hot/cold water mixer, there is less likelihood of passing adverse comments on the range of selected products that is being used over such period of time.
The attachment to hold the oil trap for the cooker hood at the point are made of aluminum which is very soft, bends easily and eventually breaks. Of course, I am able to rectify this issue with our own method of securing the oil trap in place.Ccurrently this oil trap is made of a more rigid material that is stainless steel where the breakage to the holding bracket is eliminated. The extraction fan motor was only replaced once and still in running condition till to date even though it was used on a daily basis for three (3) meals a day.
For the gas hob and kitchen counter top mixer, there is no defects detected yet after years of usage.
I was at TEKA HQ few days ago just to buy the plastic attachment to hold the tap in position as a standby spare part. Any components made of plastic will harden with age and thus may crack which will loosen the kitchen mixer.
The personnel who is on duty was helpful and made an effort to make sure what exactly I wanted is the right component for my purpose.
As a end-user, what we wanted is durability, reliability of any home products including spare parts and after sales service are crucial for any potential consumer.
The above comments are my personal experience of using the mentioned products.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ *edit* Teka called me within 2-3 hrs after leaving a general contact request via their online option to arrange an appointment. At least I know someone does reply to queries!
But would suggest to have more agents on standby esp during lunch hour because no point having a contact number for repairs if no one even answers. The repair service form can be improved so it is less vague as to what to input into the fields 'ID' and 'location'.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Anyone who buys Teka will know that it is not cheap...the kitchen tap (counter top tap mixer) I have cost more RM1K++ Called in for repair because of water leak, technician came and fixed - changed the flexi hose and went. The leak persist, called Teka again but was told to first take a video before they can come again. Told them that the leak could not be seen on naked eye, what more a video>>, and so I was told without a video, they will not entertain.
Paid for the service but if you need them again, be prepared that your request for a come back will fall on deaf ears.
