20 minutes on the boat... Atleast 1 hour journey before you can reach the waterfall.. Hiking and rock climbing needed..

A beautiful waterfall with clear cool waters. As the place is not too crowded, we really enjoyed the visit here. Wasn't any littering around here. A short hike to the main pool, can be improved because it seems a little unsafe. Do be careful of the monkeys here as they tend to climb on your car as soon as you leave, and they will also try to grab things from you. Edit: Very beautiful waterfall but coming here in March again, the waterfall has dried up. Apparently it's dry season and not worth the visit

Temurun waterfall could be one of the prettiest place in Langkawi. Poor maintainance made the place looks awful. Thrash are averywhere near the main waterfall. Lack of basic necessities such toilet and changing rooms. No thrash can along the picnic area.

Beautiful. Apparently after rain the waterfall is magnificent but even after a week of sun and no rain, it was still worth going to. Easy 5 minute walk to the base and 75 steps up to a second pool of crystal clear water.

Likes: 1. Exceptionally stunning geographical premise. 2. Ample parking lots at any given time. 3. On the way out from Datai, at the T junction of Datai road, there is a western cafe operated by ex hotel chef called Anjung Route. Price and taste are in parallel. Highly recommended! Things to Improve: 1. Toilet nearby the waterfall, not at the entrance. 2. Visitors may want to collect their own trash.

This place needs a good sprucing up! There's an overflowing garbage dumpster right at the entrance. Signage boards have seen better days. A fallen tree trunk blocked the main path. Further up we glimpsed the actual waterfall. Due to lack of rain, the water flow wasn't much, but we can imagine an impressive cascade during the rainy season. The three tiers drop down 200m, the tallest in Langkawi. We went no further than the lowest tier because we weren't dressed for a strenuous hike. Also, a large troop of monkeys was giving us Planet of the Apes vibes so we beat a hasty retreat!

I am a local here. This is absolutely my hideout spot. This picture was took when dry season water lil bit less and chalky. The best time to visit it exactly after a rain time . The water will extremely cold and fresh . The access road is lil bit rough but it only took less than 5 mins . Worth to visit this waterall??
