I am truly in awe of this resort. The rooms are beautiful, the beach is stunning with calm, crystal clear waters. The property is surrounded by lush forests and mountains making for picture perfect scenery and so many beautiful birds and monkeys that you feel like your living on a wildlife sanctuary. More importantly, and i tear up as i write this, but what absolutely made this trip outstanding, was the beautiful and kind staff. They went above and beyond throughout our entire trip and truly made us feel like family. I will never forget my experience here, and already can't wait to come back again and again!

The good: 1. Service: Staff was excellent. Everyone we care across was friendly and attentive. No complains there. 2. Spa. The facilities overlooking the beach was beautiful. The treatments was great. Altogether really relaxing experience. The bad: 1. The room was just really worn out and really couldn’t feel the luxury-ness of it. Even with a room upgrade, which we got an extra garden patio, there was no wow factor. 2. Food was not up to luxury hotel standard and frankly overpriced for what was served. The Japanese restaurant was not good. Had the teppanyakki where everything was overcooked and the seasoning for everything was essentially soy sauce and butter. The Malay restaurant was also disappointing. The breakfast was also average when compared to other Marriott chains we’ve stayed at. The grill restaurant by the beach was actually quite good, probably the best on location.

As seasoned traveler and not too picky, this place is top notch. First I would say their valuable employees that are very attentive, friendly and helpful. From the bellboy, receptionists, marine biologist, waiter and waitress they did perfect job. The environment is gorgeous, many activities offered, morning walk, evening walk, sand badminton, kayaking, huge pool, spa and many more. Mind you that it is located far away from the main road, about 20mins drive. But I enjoy the driving along the route, soothing and calming. If you are looking for some peace and serenity this is it. Food at The Restaurant is really nice especially the appetizer Watermelon and Feta. The breakfast selection is remarkable. I love how healthy the selections are. So this place served all in one, wellness, peace tranquility and serenity. Perfect break from the city.

This is a great resort for families with young children or couples who want to get away. While the pool may not be the best place to chill out and read - their private beach stretches long and far thus you'll be able to find a quiet, cosy spot. The room is smaller in comparison to other resorts in Langkawi that I've been to however this is not a resort where you want to stay in the room. We were upgraded to the seaview and boy, the view of the Andaman was amazing. The staff were fantastic - helpful and never overbearing. Will definitely be staying here again.

The beach is stunning no doubt about it and the rooms are small but well maintained and lovely. But what really let’s this place down is the service, meals even room service take over an hour, restaurants ALL fully booked when you want to eat, and even to get a drink to your table takes on average 15 minutes. This place simply needs more staff and better training for existing staff.

Paradise found. This is resort is in a truly special location. We loved our visit here and did some great day excursions the hotel recommended. Jet ski around islands, cable car and others. But there is amazing jungle and wildlife right on the property. We stayed here a week before the fire in Jan 2021. We hope it reopens so we can go again. For golfers there is a beautiful Ernie Els course minutes away. A real gem too.

Came here in Nov 2020 and it was an amazing experience. We were treated so well the moment we parked our car till the moment we left. Buffet breakfast was fantastic. The views were top notch. The private beach was everything, although the monkeys were slightly annoying. We couldn’t really leave our belongings unattended without the monkeys coming over. Don’t expect crystal clear water though. As it is close to nature, do expect to see lots of them and other animals or insects around. Really sad to hear that it burned down a few months after my trip. Hopefully it comes back stronger when it is rebuilt.

I have been travelling around the world and this is the best hotel I have ever stayed at. You are enjoying lush nature and luxury. I could see leaf monkeys straight from my balcony. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. The food variety is amazing and the breakfast is 10 out of 10 (so is the Japanese restaurant). I hope this hotel will be open again as it is definitely on my list to come back to
