★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is our family’s favourite shop for delicious authentic Teowchew porridge and they are the best at least within the vicinity of southern Cheras nearby Tmn Cheras Perdana. Their range of offering is quite wide including some classic Teochew dishes such as stew intestines and eggs, tofu, fried meatballs/sausages, pickled vegs (ham-choi), spicy kai-choy, mackerels cooked in different ways, fried fish (seasonal), smoked duck slices, fried la-la with dried chilli, sweet and sour pork knuckles… just to name a few. To top up with that, their chili sauce to go with is wonderful! The shop is located next to the morning market or Pasar site.
