★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went on a Sunday slightly after 12pm. Place is quite hot due to the zinc roof and not so good ventilation. The place was already filled up with people so shared table. Ordered and took quite long for the food to come, slightly more than half an hour. Maybe it's Sunday. The BKT tasted ok but slightly salty. Probably would go again but NEVER ON SUNDAY!
CLOSE EVERY WEDNESDAY.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our favourite bak kut teh spot. No need to brave the traffic to drive to Klang town. The boss is friendly and service is fast and courteous. We dine at least once a week. You can go OPP to enjoy the famous balakong pan mee too. Both are highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Steam fish is very good. The bakuteh is ok, better then those in Klang. But not the best. The soup is quite salty & lack of herbal flavor. Amount of meat in the bakuteh is very generous! The environment is not so good though. Need improvement on cleanliness.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This single storey terrace house converted to stall is just located behing Ambank at Batu 11 Cheras. One of the better Bak Kut Teh in Cheras and has been around more than 20 years over two generations .This stall is closer to the Klang flavour. Refilling your tea is self service. The Bak Kut Teh portion is bigger than normal and remember to order less. The steamed Big Head Carp ( Sung Yue or Tong San Yu) is excellent. They are not stingy with their Bak Kut Teh soup and you can ask for refilling. Come in simple clothing as this place can be hot with all the water boiling from the kettle. The price is reasonable and be prepared to wait for table if you come during lunch time or during weekends. The name of the shop had been changed to New Choong Kee Bak Kut Teh. Since the change of management, the quality have dipped.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tucked at corner terrace house, hidden from main bustling road. Went before they start at 930am, can smell the strong soup aroma when approaching the area.
Generous portion of meats / spare parts according to order.
One of the reasonable priced BKT around region.
Good for quick meal.
Eating area is non air conditioned with limited tables, so prepare to wait if there is no table available.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time back after a long hiatus. I think this is new? Few years ago, another owner had a bad review fr me. This time the soup is great, thick n fragrant, meat nice n lots of it n no prob with refill! We just had lunch today. I am going back tomorrow for another round. No need to drive to Klang! Wonderful n highly recommended.
