★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Friendly staff. Had pretty good hopes up reading those 5 star reviews. Also I go to Butaya Izakaya a lot so this place should be safe right? Unfortunately, if you are looking for grilled meats, this may not be your place. Ordered the wagyu. At RM132, for 150g, it’s pretty cheap so I already levelled my expectations. Even then it really bombed. It was medium rare yes, but very tough and chewy, even regular steaks aren’t as tough (regular Aus steaks u cook at home oso better pls). And there was this really bad gamey smell. The yakiniku yielded similar qualities. Tough, with this smell of non-fresh meat. I was initially excited maybe this could replace places like Maruhi Sakaba which is so packed, but if i ever come back, it’s definitely not for the meats. Maybe only the garlic fried rice, this one not bad. Pls do try for yourself. Maybe I’m just unlucky :/

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Overall food is fantastic, ambience is nice, and price is reasonable. Big plus point for serving the food fast which is quite rare compared to other izakaya out there.
The staffs are generally attentive and well-mannered, despite that they seem to be quite short-staffed. Thou there's some miscommunication on our reservation, the staff is accommodative and managed to resolve the issue. Will definitely come back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very Japanese influenced Izakaya style. Typical cramped, wooden styles tables and seats with Japanese adverts without the smoky atmosphere. Teppan stands out due to its focus on hot plate cookery. Steaks, hamburgs, okonomiyakis and others are prettily assembled on a hot plate and served to you. Alcoholic beverages from Japan are available here with good choices like beers, sakes and whiskies from the usual Sapporo and Suntory brands. Food here is excellent with plenty of choices from teppan to kushis. Definitely worth returning.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tbh, the ambience and deco, its decent. Probably the cost, included as a portion of the food price? I'm a fan of teppanyaki, hamburg and okonomiyaki, but this? Is no where near the actual texture and fragrant of it. If it's teppan style, at least, be sincere, cook on a hot plate and not just serving on a not even a burning hot plate. The food overall just taste salty and has no "kick" or even "wok Hei" to it. Okonomiyaki supposed to have both crispy and moist texture, but, the noodles and cabbage was nothing but soggy. Hamburg's was a bit dry and the sauce was mild curry but more of salty, and the minced beef rice..nothing special, really. Overall, I was really disappointed and I wonder still, why the queue?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A Izakaya themed Japanese yakitori bar tucked in away in the neighborhood of Taman Desa. The decor mimics the alleys of Japan with distinctive designs that’ll make you miss the country. Dishes were flavorful and authentic.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very authentic Japanese barbeque & beer place. Signatures are BBQ sticks, okonomiyaki, Hamburg on hotplate. Went there with colleagues after work. It can accommodate big groups too! Very popular place, might have to Q a bit during meal hours. Service crew were very attentive and serving of food was fast. Will definitely come back to this place. ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very Japanese feel bistro type place. Restaurant is not very big and offers both indoor aircon seating & outdoor alfresco high tables seating. Inside can be rather tight like Japan. Food menu was quite varied but many items were sold out when we were there. The grilled skewers were not bad. Didn’t try much food as it was more like supper time. Will likely return to try others. Seems more like a place for after work happy hours.
Ambience 4/5.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ambience: comfortable and tight with safety measures to separate the tables, however the tables were quite sticky so please improve hygiene
Service: awkwardly communicated with us and most of the time were unclear with their words. The food came rather fast after placing an order
Food: not to say so impressive but decent but at a high end for what it is worth. Those who likes it likes it ? I somehow believe the hype for this shop is quite overrated.
Location: plenty of free car parking slots around the area and paid as well.
