★ ★ ★ ★ ★ took them 45 minutes to figure out the projector was broken. then, the refund service was like slow and beauracratic and took more than 30 minutes. poor laziness and pathetic customer service. they should be thanking covid-19 is controlled. imagine if another covid hits, the cinema biz will just die.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went here to watch Top Gun Maverick. The ticketing system is excellent, just give us receipt for everyone. Save paper. Can order popcorn at the same time. Their chair quite uncomfortable for a RM23 per ticket seat. The nearby toilets (hall 5) are closed and had to find another.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So we booked tickets online 3 days prior to the movie date along with our drinks & popcorn. Everything was fully paid. Turns out that there's no point in pre buying your selected drinks and snacks because TGV does not reserve it for you. The drinks that we paid for "ran out" so we had to take whatever that was available. Piss poor management.
Ps: there is no fast track lane for collection. Might as well walk in and line up if you want to get anything. The online purchase offers no convenience whatsoever (in regards to the snacks).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This cinema had very wide space at the entrance/lobby compared to other TGV that I have ever been. The lobby was clean and well maintain. I recommend you to order online for popcorn or other f&b so you dont need to queue. By the time I am there, all the food counters were open, so it is also okay to queue.
The only thing that bad is the toilet sit. It should changed to a new one as it look like dirty and old.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ great cinema with amazing seating. Doesn't get blocked by the head of people sitting in front. Slightly pricier than other cinema but worth the price. The selection of food at concession was limited, but the nuggets were good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ NO PROPER MONITORING OF SOPS
I am very disappointed as I visited the TGV Cinema yesterday to watch Shang Chi in IMAX. I made this decision because I assumed a big company like TGV would follow proper SOP to keep their patrons safe.
But upon arrival, attendents there did not care to ask for your 2 dose Vaccination Certificate or ask patrons to scan their MYSJ. Instead, everyone was allowed entry to the cinema without checking if people were fully vaccinated.
Not only that, but there were MANY people that took off their masks the ENTIRE movie. We even went out of the movie to let the staff know about this with hopes they would rectify this issue. But NO, they just shruged and smiled instead.
I had to even change my seats to avoid these people that are not wearing their masks during the ENTIRE movie.
How do you expect people to feel safe visiting your cinema if TGV doesnt even bother to follow their SOP.
I would strongly urge people NOT to visit this TGV as their staff does not bother to follow nor adhere to the SOP that was promised to patrons. Because we cant even be sure that the people in the hall are vaccinated or not since their staff dont bother to check.
