If BBQ Plaza is a level 30 mini boss this would be level 60 raid boss. Place is huge with an open space and sufficient fans to keep the patrons cool, you can almost fit a whole kampung here. A hotspot in the area as this place get fills up quickly in the evening, with rm4 parking flat rate you’ll be trapped here with others like us. So just check in and swipe away your social feed as there’s always a wait.
Charcoal high flame and a simple bare metal is all you need for a sizzling experience. Better watch out those flame my dudes or it will crisps up your thin meat within seconds, we love a little bit of colors on ours. And dip it in their custom savory sour sweet blend of green sauce will send you back to street of Thailand, as the place gets rowdy with laughter and the Thailand playlist couldn't get any louder.
At here we always go big to max out our worth, from the jam packed 'Set B' to the big jar of Apple Plum juice for the two of u, your mileage may vary. Like the level 30 mini boss, you can raise your hand to topup the vege and noodle for free and almost instant, as the helpful staff are trained ninjas that zip through the crowd to keep you fed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place serve a very good soup base, order clear soup, most table opt for big set grill, come with basic vege, tong fun, soft egg tofu, some fish ball and pork meat, other than that u have to order ala carte, very crowded and a lot youngster. Price wise is OK, not to expensive, vege and tong fun is free refill

Has Thai design and atmosphere. Service is good and fast, with paid carpark. The Thai milk tea and watermelon juice are super delicious.

One of the few branches of Thai In Mookata, this is a family Thai BBQ Steamboat. First impression, it's loud, crowded and stuffy...Imagine 50+ different charcoal grilled furnaces burning ? at the same time... Which was still ok. But the place is already super noisy.. But the owners still played really loud music.. This part I don't understand. If not, they would have gotten 5 ?. That's said.. The place has ample parking and food is good and with reasonable prices.
We ordered Set A which comes with Grilled Pork Belly 4.5 ? and Black Pepper Slice 4 ?. The grilled pork belly is really good and by far the best I had (comparing only Thai Mookatas in Malaysia) as it has a balanced proportion of fats which is crispy and juicy. The set also came with the standard Bihun and Fish balls 2 ? (which we didn't like as it has a funny texture and colour).
Worth mentioning is their Sihum Corkeral 5 ? which is XL Sized and juicy (cooked just right). It's costs RM28 for a small place but it's worth it. This is actually a side order from the same kitchen but different restaurant owned by the same owner.
We ordered also the Seafood Set (at RM88) which was really worth it as it came with a Thai Styled steamed Fish 3.5 ?, 4 TIger Prawns (Big) 4.5 ?, 4 Scallops 3.5 ?, 12 Bamboo Clams 3.5 ? and Sotong 4 ?, etc. Too bad the place don't serve Crabs...which would make this perfect.
Despite the few flaws of this restaurant.. I still find this place worth coming back.. As we had a great seafood dinner for less than RM200 including our Corkeral aside order. The food we ordered was actually good for 3 to 4 adults....which makes this place a budget friendly Mookata. BTW there's actually an adjoined BBQ bar that shares the same kitchen for Happy Hour ? fans. Probably will try this... one of these days.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Reached there with friend at 7pm, lots of people and long waiting list. Luckily they requested for our mobile number and called us when it's our turn.
Free refill for the soup, noodles (冬粉) and vegetables. The set for 2 pax itself is small portion but due to free refill, both of us quite full and satisfied.
We like their sauce and their beverages. Their beverages are slightly pricey but it tastes really good. My friend himself can finish one jug of the apple pulm juice (big).
It was a pretty good experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good food with some good and bad pointers. On the good, the quality of meat is pretty good for what is being paid and they have unlimited glass noodles and cabbage refills. Staff are also really attentive and quick to respond despite the high traffic and crowds
On the bad, the Tom Yum broth has an extra RM5 charge but the top up didn't feel worth it as the broth wasn't above average in any sense. The Thai milk tea was way too sweet and they can only dilute it with water as it is pre made to adjust the sweetness. This sorts of defeats the purpose because you end up with watery instead of rich and milky tea. The dining environment is clean but very very hot although the restaurant has made efforts to cool the premise with ample fans.
